2 Chapter 2

-10,000 years later-

Like the sun, he shined upon his people. Taking the place his father once had, Eijiro was now king of the 14th Pit, while his brother, Vince, took place in the 13th. All other 12 pits were filled with their new rulers as well, all bearing the mark in their hair.

Eijiro was no longer ill. He had grown strong and beautiful like his father, Lucis Maru. He stood at 6'11 and had a strong build. Despite his height, he was still smaller than the previous King, who was 7'5.

A voice giggled that only he heard. "Oh my, you're a king now, what are you going to do first?" A female voice filled his thoughts.

"Roubi," he started, "I will do what I must, for the good of my kingdom. Just like my father before me." He sighed.

Roubi was his demon that he swore to protect. She was a Rokurokubi, a Japanese demon that looked like a beautiful woman, but at night, her head wonders and her neck stretches in search of men to feast upon. Eijiro feed her constantly.

"I'm proud, my King." Lela bowed as Eijiro sneaked back in his castle, he never liked parties and was often labeled as an introvert.

"Thank you, Lela. It's nice, finally being King that is. Have you heard anything from Vince? I wish to congratulate him." Eijiro smiled as Dante, who was much bigger and could be labeled as crippled because of his missing back legs, wondered in.

"I'm sorry, King, but Vince has said he doesn't want to speak to you." Lela reported.

Eijiro looked down and pet Dante's skull. "I see, well, that's alright. How about the others?"

"Well, actually, King Sakana No Kimi from the 2nd Pit and Queen Sephy from the 5th are already here." Just after she mentioned, two bodies walked into the main hall.

"Eiji~!! My handsome King, were you waiting for me?~" A flamboyant merman, who was shirtless and had bright red lips that were glossed over-slicked back dark red hair with a bright pink mark - legs that were covered with purple, red, and pink colored scales- and gold jewelry that decorated his neck and arms, rushed to him. Sakana threw himself on Eijiro, leaving lipstick prints on his cheeks.

A female lamia came up behind Sakana. She had a snake tail for her lower half with black scales and a white belly. She had a heavy set that was hold back by an expensive top that looked like it was about to burst. Gold bands sat on her arms and a gold choker. She had lavender colored hair with a yellow mark. "Congratulations, Eijiro." She smirked, coming close and intentionally bringing his arm in between her breasts. "Maybe we should go celebrate.~"

"Back off you castle whore! He's mine!" Sakana got defensive and roughly pulled him away.

The two demons got in a fight throwing Eijiro to the side. Sephy wrapped her thick, long tail around Sakana's body and held him upside down. The merman turned himself into a small guppy and squeezed his way out if her grasp.

Eijiro caught Sakana in his hands, who turned back to normal, and glared as dropped the king on his back. "Lady Sephy, Sakana." The two both backed away from each other, the tension still thick.

"My King," Lela passed a golden feather. Eijiro studdied it.

"She's comming." He muttered. Sakana and Sephy opened the door to their pits and walked through.

"Where are you going?"

"You have a meeting with her..we can not stay." Sakana explained before the doors closed.

"Hello, my child." A disembodied voice echoed as a rip in the atmosphere caught Eijiro's attention. A woman that glowed with a dress made from light and a crown of gold walked in, a thick book in her hands. A slight gasp escaped his lips as he bowed on his knees.

"My Creator." Eijiro replied as he kept his head down. The Creator was the mother of the the three worlds. Heaven, Earth, and Hell.

"Rise, Eijiro, you're not in trouble." She chuckled and squatted down, placing her hand on top of his silky hair.

He did so as she stood straight as well. The Creator was a heavenly being with beautiful gold eyes and pale skin. "I wanted to congratulate you personally. I did the same for your parents, many years ago."

"Thank you, My Creator."

"I hope you bring peace to your people, like your father. He was a good man, it's sad that he was lost." She closed her eyes.

"Is there anything I can do for you, My Creator?" Eijiro replied.

"Oh no." She opened her book and wrote something down.

"Of course, My Creator." He smiled.

"Oh, yes, I do have a gift for you." She remembered and a blue feather, that was similar to her gold ones, appeared in his hand.

"With all do respect, I would have to decline. Your gift of life is simply enough."

She didnt take no for an answer and took the blue feather and placed it in his coat pocket then placed a finger to her lips. "Our little secret, Eijiro. Promise me you will always carry this feather on you."

Eijiro promised as she fixed his coat and placed her soft hand on his cheek. The Creator caressed and muttered, "So loyal. So obedient." She let him go and started to leave the castle main hall. Eijiro bowed his head as she left in a flash of light.

Vince sat upon his throne, his finger tapping against his left temple. He glared at nothingness as he thought.

A Skeleton Hund, named Ulrich, laid at his feet as rows and rows of Dead Walkers, also known as humans, sat still on their knees. Vince was scenting them to their second deaths. They would beg, but they were too afraid to speak.

With a snap of his finger, they were escorted to the black sea, known as the void, that rested at the bottom of all the kingdoms.

The Dead Walkers dropped like flies. Plunging themselves into the black waves, only to be swallowed up and have their souls dissipate.

Vince watched as he pushed his long braided hair off his shoulder and and stood from his throne and turned to leave. Just like his brother, Vince grew strong.

"My king? A message for you." A faceless maid trembled as he glared and snatched the feather away from her.

"A feather?" He studied it as he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Hello darling." The Creator smiled. "I just had to tell you congratulations. But your killing my children. Just look as their names are being eased!" She showed him the names of the humans disappearing in her book. "Not good, my child.

Vince looked down on her. "With all do respect, my Creator, I don't give a damn." He pushed his way passed her and continued down the hall.

She waved her hand and a wall formed in his way. "Listen, Vince. I understand your hate for the humans, but not all of them are like that. I have something for you."

She held out a similar feather. "The book wishes for you to have this."

Vince took it and placed it in his pocket. "Jorogumo. I want you to kill it."

"Why is that?"

"Because I dont like getting my hands dirty, darling." The Creator smirked before disappearing from his sight.

Vince scoffed and headed down the hall. He passed a painting of his mother. He could never bring himself to look at it. Ulrich followed behind as Vince entered his bed chambers.

To his surprise, a mask and sword laid upon his bed. He held the hilt of the blade. It hummed as he recognized it. "Adamantite."

What was once his mothers lance, was now forged into a sword. As for the mask, he's only seen it in paintings when his father wore it.

It covered over half of his face. Red lines that moved and curled slowly covered most of the gold mask. It was alive.

"A gift from your father and mother, I presume?" A male voice questioned. Vince harboured a demon of war called Yawata no Kami.

"Shut up." Vince hissed.

"Watch your tongue, Vince. Before I bite it off. You filthy lizard" The deity warned.

Vince removed his clothing and changed into a red and black outfit. A long cloak with a red inliner and a popped collar with a general-like uniform underneath.

Ulrich held the mask in his jaw as Vince placed the sword on his side.
