Life 14: A Ghostly Encounter

Whilst keeping vigilant of the dangers ahead- training more and more in secret as his body honed itself with energy mastery.

Preventing him from leaking out his true strength.

He had yet to truly find the anomaly within this land but he knew he would encounter it sooner than later.

Once a few weeks had passed Bardock was out in the weekends practicing One for All with his coach All-Might as the two covered the basics and how best to maximise the skillset.

"Young Shimura you see - this power has had many such hosts throughout time itself going back to the founder where it allowed storing unimaginable amounts of energy in a physique - slowly extending to strength, speed and hell even energy attacks.

But to muster this power and use it right you must make sure that each part of you is honed correctly without any imbalances."

As All-Might said this he pointed out a few flaws in Bardocks usage of the quirk- his energy conversion with the quirk was poor because he forcefully tried to drag the latent energy source- instead of acclimating and making it his own.

But through his teachings Bardock managed to hold of on biting more than he could chew and studied properly on this usage of power.

This quirk was an unbelievable one - the mere fact that it could potentially increase oneself by a 1,000,000,000% if trained properly was greater than anything he'd heard of- better than any legend he'd heard it was insane.

With this he thought maybe he could take down Frieza and finally reveal his true self to his Saiyan compatriots.

The legend of the Super Saiyan paled in comparison to this powers true potential and that led Bardock to form a shit eating grin that caused even All-Might to smile.

'Kids got heart, got potential and is looking to be readier than most graduates and amateurs in the industry... I sure have a great eye for talent.'

Once training was done - All-Might asked why Midoriya hadn't come with Bardock and to this Bardock had no answer- he was different than what he'd seen - no longer worrying about civilians and wanting to just be the best when it came to taking out villains it was so weird, bizzarro even.

Midoriya constantly changed his mind and could never truly make up a stance on whether he wanted to be a great hero or an Anti-Hero.

It was a peculiar sight Bardock had to admit.

But that wasn't what Bardock needed to worry about, his mind and goal was focused on becoming better than the him of yesterday and to live with no regrets.

And so he picked up his barbell with weight only at the end that had plates the size of cars on easily above 10 tonnes as he swung back and forth training and using leverage in holding this bar.

All-Might nodded diligently as he saw his student, 'To think I could have two successors there must be a reason as to why Young Shimura seemed to unlock the abilities - could it be due to his bloodline being that of a One For All descendant.'

"Come on Young Shimura give me 2,000!!

You've got 1,500 left!!"

As Bardock heard his teacher utter those words he accelerated his movements as each swing doubled and tripped in succession his speed continued to increase as his sweat soaked his clothes.

Yet not a single drop fell off of him as his residual heat vaporised each drop this repeated as his training ensued.

"1,997.... 1,998... 1,999.. 2,000!!!"

Bardock screamed as his final rep finished dropping the massive weight to the ground as he plopped backwards lying on the earth as his cotton candy like golden hair swayed left and right whilst his ocean blue eyes stared at the stars above.

Just who was the anomaly thought the Saiyan youngster as he wondered who was most suspicious or out of character.

And there was really only one person who was out of place that being Midoriya.

His every action was strange almost as if he'd been switched or possessed somehow.

As he thought this All-Might chucked a drink called P Sweat to him as he downed in one gulp wiping his mouth with the back of his hand as he got up.

"You've done extremely well Young Shimura- I'm truly proud to see your progress so far and I know together you and Young Midoriya will become great heroes."

Saying that All-Might gave his student a pat on the back as he leaped off into the distance like he was cutting through butter effortlessly swinging to his destination.

Seeing the holes in the clouds Bardock laughed a little at his teacher eccentricities and overall personality.

As he too made it back home - but as he did so he suddenly turned around.

"VVVRRROOOWSSHHS!!"

A sound alerted him instantly as he sidestepped and jumped back as he did so in the air he immediately saw a girl his age almost recklessly driving her bicycle into the fence on the pedestrian side.

It looked out of control and was insanely and inhumanly fast.

Whilst he noted this the system perked up.

[Detecting Strange Particles in the air- Host has been warned- It seems to be slightly aggressive be careful.]

Hearing this Bardock noticed that the air around him was layered in a green wave of dust misty almost in texture and shape it was emanating from that bike.

Bardock ran towards the bike before suddenly a wave of flames slammed him to the ground and the Bike became a spirit of flame surrounding the girl.

The flames slowly faded as the girls eyes turned neon green- she began pelting fireballs at Bardock.

In a split second Bardock used his ki sense to begin dodging each attack as he made himself move forward slowly - bit by bit until he landed a solid left hook on the flame spirit.

The girl went flying as she did Bardock let out a lightning fast slice in the air that fired a blade of wind at the enemy disgruntling it.

But after this a cloud of smoke appeared causing his sight to falter as his eyes closed he began to sense with his heart as he saw all the ki around him.

Dodging and turning from each punch coated in flames as he eventually grabbed her arm and flung her over his head.

Finally it seemed like the battle was over.

However a mysterious green spirit like orb almost flew straight into the sky.

[Anomalous Event Occurred- It seems the anomaly has been found Host- it is a green willo'wisp of flame bundled into a sphere- possible signs of it being a spirit or possession ghost]

Hearing this Bardock grit his teeth hurrying towards the girl making sure she was fine - however on further notice he recognised her-

"Momo I think- Hey you alright - wake up it's Bardock I'm in the same class as you."
