9 9. Cleansers(I)

In the last post, I've described what kind of cleansers you need to choose according to your skin type. In this post I'll recommend some of the cleansers I know, to use after oil cleansing. So, let's get into it:

Oily/Acne prone skin:

1. CeraVe Foaming facial cleanser, $15

2. Cetaphil Oily skin cleanser,$10

I know many people have different opinions on this cleanser, but according to my personal experience I really love this cleanser....it actually helped me clear my skin alot.

3. Neutrogena oil free acne face wash,$7

4. Cosrx low pH good morning cleanser,$9

This is one of the cleanser that maintains your skins ph level and is super gentle on your skin.

5. Youth to people superfood antioxidant cleanser, $36

It is slightly on the pricier side than other cleansers ,but it is suitable for oily-acne prone- sensitive skin. So do give it a try.....if not you could choose the remaining options.

I do want to include many Korean cleansers but they're mostly on the foaming side so if you have extremely oily skin you could use them. Using a gel type cleanser is better than a foaming cleanser because by using it the skin is suspectable to sensitivity, irritation, drastic change in pH ..etc.

Extremely oily skin:

1. Mizon acence anti blemish foaming cleanser, $18

2. Innisfree Jeju volcanic pore cleansing foam, $9

3. The face shop rice water bright foaming cleanser, $10

4. Missha super aqua refreshing cleansing foam, $15

5. Etude house baking powder cleansing foam,$9

Just whatever you use make sure that it doesn't have any beads in the product which can be really tough on you skin especially if you're acne prone...then so it causes your skin to tear which is really not a good thing....

Note that the pricing I've mentioned for these products are not the best prices that is ....if you check out different websites you can get it for lower prices.

Tips for oily/acne prone skin:

1. Make sure you exfoliate 2-3 times a week

2. Include antioxidants in your skincare for better results

3. Avoid alcohol and spicy foods

4. Exercise regularly...even for 20 mins is good.

5. The best moisturizer for oily skin is one that is oil-free, water-based and won't weigh down your skin.

6. Try to incorporate a retinol-based serum in your night-time beauty regimen that firms skin and tightens pores, implying your skin creates and releases less oil.

7. While doing your makeup, a primer is an absolute must, since it aids in keeping sebum under control; plus, it keeps your makeup on for a longer amount of time.

8. For a base that lasts for hours, choose oil-free foundations in matte textures to battle shine and oil, all day long.

9. Use concealers sparingly as this might make your makeup crease.

10. Never ever sleep with your makeup on. This will just clog your pores and aggravate other skin issues that you might be suffering from.

11. Refrain from touching your face as it can transfer dirt and impurities to your face, leading to breakouts or acne.

12. Avoid using too many blotting papers and over washing .....washing your face twice a day is enough.
