Redskull’s Demise Part 4

*BAM*

Selena struck the katana downward against the shield Caterina had but it did nothing rather than making noise.

Selena raised her leg then kicked at the shield which sent Caterina rolling away.

Caterina has already lost the Adamantine sword from their fight a while ago, now Selena was taking her anger out by slamming the katana on the shield constantly before kicking her away.

In the end even if Caterina had the sword and shield of the gods, she still wouldn't stand a chance against a direct child of a god.

Selena was angry and shocked at the same time, she knew about Vibranium but she never thought it would be such a cheat.

During their fight the sword was able to absorb a lot of the force from Caterina's attack, not only that but the way the sword moves forward Selena could see that it can slice through the air with minimal wind resistance, and combined with it's featherweight it's a terrifying weapon.

She was now able to see why Steve was able to take huge force and still able to stand without moving.

It was incredible, but for Selena there was one problem.

There was a small cut on the sharp blade.

In the end Adamantine is stronger than the Vibranium sword, Selena was a bit guilty, Alfie left the sword to her and not one hour later she chipped the edge of it a little bit.

Not knowing what to do she glared at Caterina who was on the ground smirking towards her provokingly.

The sword and shield was already confiscated by the amazons on Selena's side.

"You've caused so much trouble and sorrow…" Selena said softly.

"Did I? Hahaha I thought it was pretty fun, I mean I got you guys to get out right?" Caterina asked as she looked at the amazons with a knowing smile.

"Mother was right about you, you don't qualify for the Queenship, not with this ignorance of yours." Selena said.

"Is that so, you seem to know everything so why don't you tell me, sister, who qualifies?" Caterina asked with seriousness as her smirk disappeared.

"Not you, that's for sure."

"And the one and only who qualifies is you correct? You who is so kind hearted, honorable, courageous, compassionate and loyal to our people? Mother told you that right? And about how I am troubled within and is blinded by power and greed?" Caterina said casually as Selena stayed silent.

"How innocent you are, darling mother never told you that I was exactly how she was when she was younger right? You only see her as our lovely mother don't you? Well let me tell you something.

Mother? She was the big bad thousands of years ago, she craved power and wanted to rule the world of men, she with her army of thousands stormed the kingdoms of men and conquered it killing all who opposed killing the weak, old and the young.

Nothing would stop her, she would have gone around the world thousand folds and conquered the lands easily.

(Apparently they don't know who the Ancient One is.)

But the gods had seen her destruction and stopped her and her warriors, they were then put on an island that would not be able to be located by men and was forbidden to leave the islands." Caterina said as she observed Selena's reaction.

"If we were forbidden to leave the islands then why were we not struck by Mighty Zeus' lightning?" Erza asked as she crossed her arms.

"Oh darling, you aren't forbidden to leave the island, the first generation of warriors were, that is why mother and the wise elders either die off or never leave. The past has been covered so the new daughters would not know of the humiliating past the amazons have.

Even now the gods have stopped meddling in the affairs of us mortals yet the older generation still fears stepping off the island.

Dear me is just trying to have a little fun here." Caterina finished as she finally laughed again with her smirk returning.

"Dear sister, do you know why mother is so adamant on crowning you queen?" Caterina asked playfully.

"That's enough, take her away." Selena said as she took the Adamantine sword and shield.

"Because you are the daughter of Zeus." Caterina said.

It wasn't loud nor was it low, but it definitely froze the amazons.

Sure most amazons have the blood of the gods running through them, but to be the child of god themselves was a higher honor and status than imaginable.

A child of the gods would have pure power running in their veins, true power and a true Demi-God.

"That's right, sister, you have the blood of Zeus himself running through you, it's a gift...but you have to wonder, what is mother's goal? She will put you on the seat as Queen and what happens then? Will you lead through your own way? Or listen as mother "guides" you?

In a way if she ever leads you to the same situation with the gods there are two ways things will go.

One, as the daughter of Zeus you will have the privilege of knowing what it's like to conquer without anyone standing in front of you.

Or two, you are basically a god and can get stronger, this way you will have a chance against even the gods…" Caterina finished as two amazons came holding her elbows in a lock.

"The real question here, sister, is what will you do?" Caterina said before laughing away.

In front of Alfie was the previous shadow with an unrecognizable figure. Alfie just stood there with parts of his limbs bloodied.

Finished with his opponent Alfie turned and flicked his entire right arm towards Redskull who had a bigger beamer, a kunai came straight until it pierced the biceps of Redskull making him scream once more.

Alfie did not go to him rather he went straight to Steve and the other shadow.

"Steve, I'll handle this one, take care of Skullface." Alfie said.

Steve rolled away from one of the shadows wide attacks before ending with Redskull face to face.

"It would have been fun, but I don't have time for this." Alfie said as he stepped forward.

A simple right hand punch which the shadow dodged to the left bringing up his chains to wrap Alfie's arm with.

The shadow tried to pull but like how he did to Steve, Alfie kicked the shadows leg making him slip.

And while in mid-air, before the shadow even hit the ground a short sword came from above and stabbed into the mask's mouth then through the throat before coming out of the back neck.

The blade broke when it made contact on the hard ground, but the job was done.

Alfie turned around before plopping onto his butt and watched the scuffle between Steve and Redskull.

Redskull slammed his hand at Steve's shield a few times struggling until Steve braced and pushed, breaking the altar power source in the middle.

Redskull got up murmuring about what we have done.

He took the tesseract in hand as he looked deeply into it.

"You could have the power of the GODS!! But you mongrels decide on becoming foot soldiers instead." Redskull yelled frustratingly.

"No thanks." Steve said.

"I'd rather not live that high up, it's probably too much work." Alfie chimed in with his thoughts.

Redskull growled before shoving the tesseract in front of us as he screamed.

"Aaggghhhhh!!"

"Does he think he can blast us with its power or something? What an idiot." Alfie commented "silently."

Not long starting from his hand, Redskull's body started to turn sand like before he was sent away upward disappearing.

As the tesseract fell, Alfie grabbed his katana and used it to hold the bottom of the tesseract.

Only to realize again that he doesn't have his sword, and the tesseract fell through melting the ship.

Steve ran ahead to the control to check out the situation, and it wasn't good.

As Steve handled the front Alfie got out his talkie and spoke.

"Come in James? Come in!!"

A few seconds of static sounded before it was answered miraculously.

>McBride?! Where the hell are you?< James answered.

"I'm with Steve right now...it doesn't look good on our end." Alfie said with a small chuckle.

>...< No answer came.

"James, take care of Luna for me…"

>Yeah...it was an honour to fight alongside you, Captain.< James said without missing a beat.

"Likewise Wolverine, Likewise." Alfie said before he put the radio away and headed for Steve, he was already talking to Peggy through the comms.

Without warning Alfie went to Steve's left and tapped him to move over, so he could pilot it to give them more time to talk.

But not before he speaks himself.

"Red."

"Alfie?! What are you doing there?! We were looking for you?!" Peggy said through the comms.

"I don't have time, but all I ask of you is to talk to my people, tell them I love them and I'll see them soon enough." Alfie said.

"And to you as well read, I know I've been an annoying ass, but I'm glad to have met you, I'm also grateful for giving Steve a chance and all." Alfie said quickly.

"Hahaha me too, I'm glad I've met you as well Alfie." Peggy laughed, but there was a crack in her voice along with some sniffles.

"Anyways I'll try my best to bring Steve back to you." Alfie said before he brought his focus fully back to piloting the plane making it stay in the air a little longer than usual until it started to lose altitude.

Steve was able to say a proper goodbye as they both heard Peggy crying on the other end of the comms.

Steve put his hand on Alfie's shoulder and smiled.

"It was a good run." Steve said.

"You're damn right it was."

*FWWWOOOSSSSHHH*

*BOOOOMMM*

A muffled boom sounded out as the static was all that was left to hear on Peggy's side.

Behind the sobbing Peggy there was a group standing there, full of shock, tears and denial.

Tears streamed down Bucky's face as he slid down the wall he leaned on.

He might be the one that took it the hardest, and worst of all, he didn't even get to say goodbye.

His two most important people are gone, his two brothers growing up, the ones he stood beside and fought alongside almost all their lives.

From the alleys in their childhood to the battlefield in their adulthood they were together most of the time, doing everything together.

With an indifferent expression Bucky hung his head low, not stopping the tears from dropping and streaming down.

The feeling of reluctance and a bit of hatred for the two for leaving him behind.

James who was near but unseen scoffed before walking off followed by a very whiny wolf.

Selena stood there with a frown before going her own way as well.

Both Wardogs and Howling Commandos were a bit in a tight situation, they didn't know what to do as their Captains were both dead and their second in command were a bit unstable.

Rolo and Jonjon had different reactions to this, one head straight for the bar while the other just walked aimlessly thinking about the time in their neighborhood when Alfie used to provoke everyone to fight him until they were fully filled with fear and compliance.

One thing Jonjon knew about Alfie was that if you stand behind him, he will protect and take care of you.

If you stand beside him, he will respect you and show you some of the best things in life with him.

But if you stand against him, he will bloody your nose, it doesn't matter how many or how big one was, Alfie always knew how to handle things his ways.

That is how the Morris Cubs had the BEST childhood one could ask for.

But it was more than that, and time is not enough for Jonjon to express how he worships the man who saved him countless times from trouble.

Jonjon was a snotty small scrawny kid, but with Alfie no one messed with him, with Alfie he had the courage of the gods and more.

But now…

Hours later in one of the most known bar in Italy due to the gatherings of legends.

On the stool laying on the counter knocked out was Rolo, shot glass filled his counter while alcohol dripped from the counter to the floor.

Rolo at the moment just doesn't wanna feel anything, he wants to forget anything and everything.

Behind him were more than 50 people in that room, it was packed but also not so packed.

The people inside that bar side room were the Wardogs and the Howling Commandos.

The bar owner knew about both Alfie and Steve, how could he not, they were not only the toughest respectable men but also the Captains of the many hard asses in the other room.

At one of the corners Bucky sat there with drinks also filled on his table, as he expressionlessly stare at nowhere particular.

In the middle of the group there was two tables, each filled with their own knows members who are recognized to have the high authority over both groups.

In the middle of the Commandos table sat Dugan, while in the middle of the Wardogs table sat William.

William Andersen always had a book in hand to read, but not this time.

Both Dugan and William stood up.

Dugan raised his shot glass before speaking.

"To Captain McBride."

Willaim raised his glass and also spoke.

"To Captain Rogers."

"To the Captains." They both said.

"TO THE CAPTAINS!!" Everyone stood up and said firmly except for Bucky and Rolo.

The next few days everyone stormed out of their houses and screamed out their hearts.

The War is Over.

Mothers, fathers, siblings, wifes and kids ran to their peoples arms, they came back home from the war.

Some cried as not everyone made it back, so their names were written up in honor of their duty.

Not many knew about the happenings of the two famous Captains, the press would have to let people know slowly.

So on the first day, everyone knew that the war ended.

On the second day, everyone found out that the two great Captains have passed, sacrificing themself to save New York and more.

On the third day, everyone knew about the Princess of Amazon and her warriors.

Then after that, many things were finally shed light on, people started to read and know more about the things that were not commonly known.

Around the first day Peggy made her way to the Bronx in New York, she passed the news to Alfie's parents before they would hear it on the news.

The mother and father of Alfie cried out, at some point Peggy also teared up a bit and had to explain how great of a man their son was.

If Alfie was there he would have laughed his ass off.

At the restaurant at Blue Ribbon, around 50 plus young men and a few women sat and talk, laughed, cried and reminisced.

Rolo was there, Jonjon was there as well, but there was also Billy, Rose, Timmy and every one of the Morris Wolfs and more.

The group sat there to talk about someone they started playfully calling "The Alpha," but in their case it was true.

Alfie was truly an Alpha amongst most, he conquered everyone's hearts and led them, either in the ball field or battlefield.

Howard Stark spent most of the past couple of days in the cold seas looking for signs of the two idiots who became heroes.

But in the end he found nothing, other than the Tesseract and a few pieces of the plane, but it seemed to have magically disappeared out of nowhere.

Now Howard sat on a table with a glass of alcohol and a frown.

In front of him on the table was a 14 ft. box that was filled with Vibranium, now he didn't know what to do with it.

In the end he slammed the box shut and threw it in his closet before going to sleep.

As time passes, Stark Industries have grown to be big, and that won't be the end of it as it is still growing with raw potential.

But somewhere in New York, another company was built and was slowly but surely growing as well.

Throughout the years this new company had the chance to become bigger than Stark but it took it's growth slowly and patiently.

Unlike Stark's company it's not a weapons company, it was more of an R&D company that strives to better the lives of people and improve technology and more.

The name of the growing company came to be more known than Stark Industries as its products are soon to be everywhere throughout the cities of the U.S. and more.

As both companies are still growing strong, two more big companies showed up in the 1980's changing the game with never seen kinds of designs and technology.

There were other big businesses, but the four companies was the top cats to ever exist.
