Yeah... this shameless old fox is hunting for a new grandson with ideas about technology... I'd like to see Alicia and Firea's reactions when he tries to give away his granddaughter... lol
So will the guy the hero hired try to poison Alex but kill Firia instead? There was the foreshadowing earlier that Alex will come to regret not killing the hero. Doesn't seem like this novel kills off good characters but ya never know.
Well there's probably twofold goal here one is hoping for something that will help him with the Fortress or he's hoping the set him up with his granddaughter.Thanks for the chapter on a good story
Here's a speculation. Assassin tries for Alex and gets Firia. The poison is too high level for Alex's current antidote pill,but the fortress has all the ingredients he needs, except the one guarded by the Lord of the forest. It's a race against time and a hard battle.
