So the guy who never talked to you before suddenly wants to invite you somewhere in a friendly manner and you don’t find it too suspicious to avoid it. He has already seen how some just don’t talk to him as they see him as a waste of time and not everyone will be like the girl who was only nice cause she felt guilty. He has the best excuse of being slow yet doesn’t use it. If he was suspicious of why this guy suddenly is so friendly with him start walking away cause you are mentally 2 so you can just walk away from conversations to find something cool like a butterfly. If he did that he could not only attempt to avoid the situation but also figure out from how the guy acts if he is truly friendly or faking that way even if he is forced to follow he would be better prepared. I am also confused why he even has to walk around since he has memories even of the ones when he was slow in the head for the past 4 years so he would know all these places. Sure it is different up close but is looking at them now helpful for something vs training in his room with occasional walks to avoid suspicion(though he is a nobody now so pretty sure they wouldn’t care about his daily routine while only getting curious if he didn’t show himself every once in awhile). Sticking with it for a bit just to see if it actually improves or not.

Tbh, this is the guy who stood in the way of a thief without any preparations. I guess you can't really expect him to be a smart mc??? Hopefully this changes later on, I'm a little late so it might, lmao.
