4 Learning about Magic

She entered the adventurer guild's building and saw a girl with pointed ears in front of her. She went close to her for as closer inspection and thought, "Is she an elf?". In her world, elves are imaginary creatures with pointed ears.

She went in front of her and asked, "Where can I register?". She looked at her and she also got terrified by her as the guard did. She had no clue why were they afraid of her. The elf asked Aqua to follow her. As they went inside, there were two girls present inside. They looked quite tough. The elf asked her to keep her hand on the big mirror kept in front of her. She followed.

As soon as she kept her hand, the glass of the mirror started changing color. First, it showed her image on it then, it turned black. Some words got inscribed on the glass of the mirror It read,

While she couldn't understand what it means, The three elves beside her had their eyes widened. It seemed like their voice got stuck inside their Body. She said "Um... Hello?". The Elf snapped out of their state and held her hands and rushed her to a room. They knocked on the door and a female voice responded, "Yes?". They yelled "Open fast! We have someone unique who has capability with Void Magic!"

"What?! Void magic you say? That's not possible" The voice from inside the room said. She opened the door. It was a girl with pink hair and her bosoms were quite big. Not only that, She looked very beautiful with her pair of purple eyes.

She asked Aqua to sit on the chair. She noticed that the girl was trying to read a scroll. Surprisingly, she could read it. She asked, "Who wrote this?". "We don't know yet but it says it's important in the title but the body, we can't decipher." The girl replied.

"This language is from my homeland, Should I decipher it for you?" She requested while smiling awkwardly. "That would be very good!" She exclaimed as she handed her the scroll.

Aqua readS it out,

"Guild Master, I know it would be hard to crack this but, the Situation has changed. The Seal of the demon lord weakened and he escaped. We request you to tighten the security around the city."

She got terrified after she heard that. She immediately rushed out of the room and went down. "Wait why would you-, You know what? Never mind that." Aqua Asserted while sighing.

She moved out and thought "Where can I learn Magic?"

Most of the 'Wordly' knowledge would be found in the books and most of the books are kept in library. So, library must be located somewhere in Leuneria.

She saw the swordsman walk pass by whom she asked about the adventurer guild. She approached him and Questioned, "Do you know where the Library is located?"

The swordsman replied, "It's just beside the adventurer guild's building."

She was stupefied on the thought that she never noticed it. The building was just behind her.

She said "Thank you" before entering the library.

In the Library,

Everything when created has its own principles. without principles it's not possible to create the thing. Magic must also have some basic principles..

As she entered, she saw the librarian putting the books inside the shelf. He was quite handsome, had light green hair, about the same height as her with a pair of red eyes.

She approached him and asked, "Where can I find the basic principles of Magic?". The librarian first looked at her, yawned and pointed at a shelf. What he meant was not her going there but he was using Psychokinesis To bring the book to him. A book came floating towards her and dropped in her hand. She found a table where she could read silently..

30 mins later,

She got to know that magic is the study of theory world principles. How things or and etc. Like, in her world science progressed but in this world magic progressed. Magic has many forms. Psychokinesis is an example of what we saw.

Magic has been divided into different 10 tiers according to their damage rate and mana consumption. The most important thing while casting is to not get scared. Disadvantage is that you can't move while chanting. You can but it's said that if you do your mind gets distracted.. The most basic spell one should know is,

'Wander, Spirits, Harden Mind'

It's a tier one spell and is a Common type. A common type spell can be used by anyone disregard of their affinity.

She tried it and chanted,

"Wander, Spirits, Harden mind"

A circle like figure appeared in front of her hand and the spell did work. His spelling was know as 'Sharp Mind' because it increases the focus of someone temporarily for half an hour.
