Sartaj: Once, Dad decided to take us to see the Golden Temple. It was a really big thing, first time Amritsar.

Katekar: The Golden Temple made of Gold right?

Sartaj: Listen na. The day we had to leave. Dad was called for some case. There had been an accident. A car had been run over a beggar kid. He was carried to the hospital. Anyone could have gone but Dad cancelled the Amritsar trip. I cried for so many days. I stole some money from Dad's wallet and burned them.

Katekar's expression change he lifts his hand and points it backward. Sartaj understands that Katekar is talking about time

Sartaj: 1990, My mom slapped me that night.

Katekar laughs a little

Sartaj: But do you know what Dad said?

Katekar: What?

Sartaj: He said that he was meant to go and see that child. I just wanted to be like him. A good policeman.

Katekar: Sir you worry a lot. Parulkar has the Inquiry Commission in his pocket. It doesn't matter what you say or do at this point.

Sartaj: I was in the street......blocking the exit. He came running towards me (Sartaj is talking about Junaid). Unarmed, he was in his late teens. He stared crying just as he say me. He was shouting save me sir. Parulkar came from behind. I said he was surrendering sir. But Parulkar shot him.

Katekar: Sir, everything thing will be fine once you solve a big case.

Sartaj: What will I get? What will be fine? In the last 10 years I haven't arrested anyone except Sonu, a pickpocket.

Sartaj's Phone starts ringing. He picks up the call without knowing who is calling him.

Gaitonde: What Saheb (Saheb means Sir)? Do you believe in god?

Sartaj: Who? Tell na Mother fucker who are you?

Gaitonde: I want to have a long talk.

Sartaj: Then start speaking.

Gaitonde cuts the call Sartaj keeps his phone back on the table.

Katekar: who was that?

Sartaj:I dont know. Some asshole.

Katekar: Should I track the caller?

Sartaj doesn't answer. After drinking he returns back to his house. The lights and fans inside his house are on but Sartaj lives alone.

He enters the house and walks to the bathroom. He finds that there's no water. He then goes to the kitchen. But he finds the same thing there too. He searches the fridge and finds nothing. He slams the door. He then lifts a saucepan and throws it towards the fridge.

Sartaj: Behenchod (It means Sister Fucker)

He then starts to shout like crazy. He is not in any pain, he is just releasing his frustration. He then opens his laptop and searches Ramakant Jadhav as he was told by Majid. While searching he is again called by Gaitonde. He sees his phone then again keeps it down.

After 1 minute of continues ringing Sartaj picks the call.

Gaitonde: Leave god. Do you believe in Magic. Sometimes it feels as if my life is magic.

Sartaj: Are you fucking crazy.

Gaitonde: Why did you end up in the police force? You wanted to be like Gavaskar, but you are handling Tendulkar's security. (Gavaskar and Tendulkar ar both cricketers)

Sartaj: Who?

Gaitonde: Save this city Saheb. I've heard that you love this city a lot.

Sartaj: Who is speaking?

Gaitonde: An old friend of Dilbagh Singh.

Sartaj: How do you know my Dad?

Gaitonde: Listen! Your Destiny will change.

Sartaj: You will change my Destiny?

Gaitonde: Both will change each others.
