The Highschool Girl

Today is a regular day. The breeze was as gentle as a caring mother's palm comforting their crying child. The day was just beginning calm with the still-rising sun. Students making their way to the main building. As time passed more and more students walked through the yard towards the school. Couples walking together, holding hands. It infuriates me. Through a small clearing, I spot him from my bush. I've been waiting since 6 am. Sure he may be in my class but that's not enough. I need to see him more. That's why I always follow him home, spy on him while he is changing, watch him sleeping and eating. Sadly, his bathroom doesn't have a clear window but I am slowly chipping away at his wall with a spoon. I should have probably used a metal spoon. The ringing sound of the bell startled me. I jumped out of the bush and rushed towards the class. I made sure that every class he was in, I was also in. The first class was English. It is one of my favorite classes. I get to watch him sleep since he plays games until late. He doesn't have many friends since he looks so dull. But his dullness is what makes him so irresistibly attractive. I was blessed by our lord Hermes and have been allowed to sit beside him. His soft breathing was melting my soul. I wish I had the courage to talk to him. I look at the board and take down the notes. All of a sudden, I feel a blunt object poking my arm. I look to my left and see him poking me with his pen.

He whispers 'can I borrow a page; I forgot my copy at home'.

My heart was racing faster than a formula 1 engine. I felt as though I was going to pass out.

I answer with a trembling voice 'S-sure of c-course you can h-have one'.

I ripped a page out of my refill pad and handed him one.

'Thank you' he mutters while tacking out his pen. My face was redder than the fiery pits of hell. My God has spoken to me. Shit, I was thinking about him so much I wrote down his instead of the notes. I rummage through my pencil case for my eraser. Oh no, I must have dropped it in the bush from earlier. I have no choice but to ask to use his.

'Hey, can I borrow your eraser?' she asked trying her best not to stutter.

'Sure', he hands me the eraser and continues writing. OMG, I just touched his eraser, today I have been blessed by all the Gods. I quickly rub out my great mistake and put it back on his table. He has once fallen asleep. He is as adorable as ever. I just want to pinch his cheeks. The bell rings and he woke up. It was a sad moment but it had to happen. We headed to the next class.
