If you miss me why don’t you talk to me?

After grandfather Wang left, Wang Kai was left alone with Xiao Ni in the ward. His gaze falls on the beautiful face that looks pale right now. He stood up, he placed his slightly trembling hand on her soft cheeks.

"It's late, go to sleep." He said with a gentle voice.

Xiao Ni did not answer. She just blankly blinks and looks at the empty wall. Wang Kai paused but then gently arranged her pillow and push her to bed. Xiao Ni soulless body easily follows.

Still no words coming out from her. No words and no smiles.

Assuring that she's comfortable in her position, Wang Kai pulls his chair closer to her before the seat. He stared at the tangled little cable beside him. A fluid continuously flows at the transparent pipe, connected to the little needle on Xiao Ni's hand.

His eyes look bleak. His long hand reaching the pipe and rearrange it carefully. "Guan Xiao Ni, you once said one of your biggest happiness is eating. How could you ignore all those delicious unhealthy foods you like and choose to eat from this chemical liquid?"

After the pipe looks tidy, he stares back at Xiao Ni with a frown.

"I knew that you have an unreliable tastebud. But how could you digest this liquid? It doesn't look eatable at all. I knew you wouldn't be happy with this nasty liquid. But I won't help you talk to the doctor. If you want to stop eating this liquid, you talk to the doctor yourself!"

Guan Xiao Ni did not move. Her breathing was calm, too calm that it wrenched Wang Kai's heart.

"Guan Xiao Ni you should be shouting at me right now. You are so hot-headed, stop pretending to be calm and fight me. I've mocked your tongue is unreliable. Come on, scold me now!"

She stays still, did not get angry at all. She just calmly blinks to the ceiling and ignoring his presence. Every word, every movement, every provocation, everything Wang Kai did does not affect her at all. She just silently stays in her peaceful state.

"Still throwing tantrum at me? Really not speaking?" He stares at her tenderly. He reaches her hand and brings it to his cheeks.

"Xia Sha said you actually are angry at me for leaving you in Paris?" He paused then suddenly chuckles. "Guan Xiao Ni, you spend a hundred million dollars just in 3 days. I need to work really hard to feed you, you know?"

It was still silent.

Wang Kai chuckle dried up. He closed his mouth and lowered his head.

"Xiao Ni, Xia Sha said you miss me. How could you ignore your husband that you miss? You must be lying again at me. You don't miss me at all." He said with a trembling voice.

"If you miss me why don't you talk to me?" he asked again, this time with a lower voice than before.

Xiao Ni keeps blinking and breathing like a normal person. However, as if she was deaf, she has shown no response to Wang Kai's voice.

"I'm telling you, it's only just because it's you I can tolerate your ignorance to me. You know that right? No one ever dares ignore me like this you know?" He suddenly looks up and stares at those big dreamy eyes. His eyelash flustered.

"Guan Xiao Ni, I really don't know what to say anymore. These past 6 days I've said more words than I said in 2 years. If you don't want to die out of boredom, please scold me before I start talking about the stock and finance."

"You know you are pissing me off to death right now? Don't sulk like this and talk to me, hmm?" he back to his gentle voice. He knew sound desperate and pathetic right now. But talking to her like she could hear him is the only way to make him sane.

He paused before kiss the tip of her fingertips. "Guan Xiao Ni, are you afraid? Is it why you don't want to talk to me?"

"Don't be afraid. I've got rid of the bad guy. You can do whatever you wanted right now."

He stopped talking. Slowly he lowered his head again, pressing her hand deeper to his cheeks. "Are you disappointed at me too? I failed to protect you again. Is that's why you don't want to talk to me?"

"Guan Xiao Ni, I beg you... please come back to me. I did not leave you alone this time. I'm here. So please..."

Wang Kai was so fixed on talking to Xiao Ni that he did not see Han Li standing outside the door. He watches his big boss talking to himself in silence.

The big boss expression changed from time to time. He smiles, sometimes frowns look angry, he chuckles. He acts like how normally he would be if Xiao Ni was around.

It's been 6 days since missus became like this. It's also been six days since his boss talking to missus like a mad man. Everybody went from surprised, touched to worried.

Everybody was quite stressed about Xiao Ni, but they started to worry about Wang Kai too.

On the fourth day, they began to take a rest at home while Wang Kai insisted on staying with Xiao Ni in her ward. No one noticed Wang Kai's little breakdown after they left at first.

Guan Xian is the one who finds out about it. On the cold ward, after talking to Xiao Ni he would begin to lower his head while holding Xiao Ni's hand. They usually straight back and the shoulder began to look fragile when they trembling.

Crying he was crying every night when they left.

He did not expose him. Instead, he told Han Li to take care of both of them as he takes a rest for 3 hours. He would come back to the ward and Han Li could go home.

One of Guan Xian's friends once asked him, how could he gave her sister so easily to Wang Kai. At that time, he smacks his friend's head and said Wang Kai is stealing her sister. He will never give his blessing.

The truth is, he always trust Xiao Ni in Wang Kai's hand.

It was because he knew how her sister could make this arrogant all-mighty gold dragon, sat on the corner of his dark apartment in Oxford, sleeping with wet cheeks mumbling how he had missed her.

Han Li let out a heavy sigh and took a seat on the iron bench again. He just about to close his eyes to pray when Guan Xian takes a seat next to Han Li, this time Xia Sha comes along with him.

"So that time when she said she went to Paris for one month, she was... in this condition?" Xia Sha asked carefully.

Guan Xian nodded.

"One month? The missus will be like this for one month?" Han Li spoke up this time. Boss will be like this for a whole month? won't he died first before the missus could wake up?

He rarely eats or drinks. He did not work. Most importantly he did not have a proper sleep. Moreover, he just recovers from his wound while rescuing aunty Wang Ju.

"Doctor couldn't predict. But I'm sure she will wake up sooner this time. Sigh... maybe this event happen for good. Xiao Ni could not forever live in her trauma."

"I could not believe Bai Jing is so vicious. Xiao Ni treats her better than she treats anybody else." Xia Sha said with a lowe voice. The night was always cold and gloomy if you spend it on the hospital.

Guan Xian just tells her everything that happened to Xiao Ni. Including the days he spends to rescue aunt Wang Ju. Xia Sha was furious he lied to her, but after that, she began to worry about Xiao Ni.

"Hah, but it finally ended." Guan Xian hissed. After so long felt suffocated by Gu Yi Zhen, they finally remove the threat. Now he only could hope her sister could get well soon, and their life will be normal again.

"Guan Xian, you should talk to Wang Kai not to be so hard to himself. It's not solely his fault Xiao Ni became like this." Xia Sha's voice rang out at the empty hall.

"Hmm, Boss is punishing himself for failing protecting missus. However, we both know-how protective he has been. Gu Yi Zhen pretended to besiege our basecamp, Taylor is protecting aunty Wang Ju and Boss is with Missus. No one will think the missus will run away."

Han Li paused. Xia Sha stares at Guan Xian's empty eyes, hiding a lot of secrets. It one of the moments Xia Sha has been captivated by Guan Xian's serious look.

"You two did not know what happens at that time. Wang Kai's guilty feeling has piled up for a long time." Guan Xian's expression was blank when he began to tell Xia Sha and Han Li what happen 10 years ago.
