~ Victor, elen and Alan's point of view ~
Victor standing in the hall still awaited an answer. He tried to follow his mate bond but something was holding him back and that made Victor angry. He knew that yuri was in the room, felt it, but could not talk to him (mentally) or find his exact location. Then he decided to take a few steps and get close to the black cocoon, something attracted him to it and with each step towards it the black mist that covered the ground was clearing (the mist deviated from Victor where he stepped).
Elen, who herself was trying to purify part of the mist so that it would not spread to far away with her powers and some talisman she had, was impressed to see that Victor was not struck and he was already closer than she or Alan had ever gotten. <Maybe there is hope.> she thought looking at the silver-haired boy and asked:
"Who is your mate?" Elen asked calmly.
"Yuri Katsuki," Victor replied, and seeing the woman's eyes startle in recognition, "Do you know him? Where is he?"
Before Elen could actually answer the question they were interrupted by a projectile flying past towards Victor. The mist moved quickly and protected Victor from the projectile. Meanwhile Aurus screamed.
"Don't let the silver person get too close," he told his guards. "I knew marrying you was a mistake," he said angrily, looking at Elen. "Look at the problem your son caused me."
"ENOUGH !!!" Elen shouted as blue and purple flames wrapped around her "you are the one who is responsible for most part of this" said as her transformation ended and through the fire all saw a 5-tailed kitsune (is those foxes that have human forms of Japanese folklore) with Japanese traditional clothes appear. Elen moved her hands and a firewall emerged protecting Victor and her boy from aurus "I've endured you for too long" Elen continued angry "You never minded your family, never minded my son unless if it were to isolate him from others. You made me walk away from him when he needed me the most, and I walked away not because you told me, but because I was afraid you would sent him away from me. Not that it worth it, after all he went away and I could never tell him about his lineages, about his possible power as a receptacle for the wheel of fate. And now that, because of your stupidity, the wheel has been activated do you want to kill the only person who can prevent the world from ending ???"
Aurus was a little surprised aboutt what he had just heard, but insisting on not accepting his mistakes, had opened his mouth to argue again but no sound came out. Victor had taken his voice off at the moment.
"So yuri is inside that black thing? And this clock marks the time for the wheel to start spinning?" asked victor to Elen processing the information she had just given.
"Yes," she said, "I come from a clan not only blessed by the fox god but also cursed with the wheel of fate. In some generations the wheel takes as a receptacle a child and it is up to us kitsunes to watch over it so that something like today does not happen. Like I said, with yuri it was different, because of this crap (their marriage was forced) I couldn't take care of yuri as it should. I should have taken him and run away but I was prevented by a magical contract to cancel the marriage until Alan was 18 years old. I don't blame Alan for that, because if I ran away I would have taken him with me too. The only culprit in all this was this snake, who only saw his reputation and responsibility towards citizens as important and forgot about his family. For him we are just pieces in his game" Elen said bitterly, she had never really loved Aurus, but afraid of what he might do to her family, she held on quietly for all these years as she carefully planned her departure. She had already gotten the contract to annul her marriage and the full custody of her boys (Alan and yuri) without aurus knowing.
"Is yuri alright?" Victor asked worried about his companion "I need to save him." he said as he walked toward the cocoon.
"Nooooo," Alan said for the first time holding Victor, "wait."
Throughout the confusion Alan had tried desperately to wake up yuri or mentally talk to him with his telekinetic powers. He could only pick up fragments of what Yuri thought, and while the stranger who seemed to be his brother's companion was walking towards the cocoon, he had taken a few words. "Victor ... weak ... enough ..... no .... close .... help". Concentrating on the phrase that sounded like a warning, he spent most of his magic reserve to get the message across. When ALan understood, he grabbed Victor's arm so he wouldn't get too close.
"What's it?" Victor asked irritably, he needed to save his mate after all.
"Don't go, I could hear my brother texting," he said as Victor stopped pulling his arm and listened to what Alan was saying " he said, 'Victor you are weak on your own, don't have enough power to break it, don't get too close, you need to get help.'"
"Whose help?"asked Victor, already desperate.
"Mine," said a voice behind them, and as they turned they saw a kind of ghost that looked very much like Victor.
"Who are you?" Victor asked, his heart tightening as he saw the stranger who give him a very familiar feeling.
"I am your father," answered Arslam's projection, "and I came to help you save your mate."
