2 Setting foot...

"Please select your two classes." As the voice spoke that, an entire list of various classes appeared. There were some that were combat related, but there were also some that focused on other aspects as well. For example the [Engineer] and [Scientist] Classes, these two made Danny think about his childhood, how he dreamed of being both an engineer and a scientist, because he simply felt unsatisfied with only being one of them. But then he felt a little dumb after realizing that there is not much difference between an engineer and a scientist, even though they sound completely different. An engineer can make scientific discoveries, and a scientist can as well build devices, what is different about them is what they focus on. Scientists observe the world, while engineers focus on creating. While both fields do involve observation and analysis, engineering mainly deals with creating and working on already existing creations, while scientists work with things in nature.

The descriptions of the two classes:

[Engineer] -The engineer is a class based on building and creation. The engineer does not have much of a combat advantage when facing against fighter classes, on the other hand, the role does serve as an excellent support class for maintenance and fortification. The class also has the skills to upgrade weapons and equipment. But is also a fun class to have if you like building!

[Scientist] -The scientist is a class based on analysis, creation, and... SCIENCE! The scientist does not have much of a combat advantage when facing against fighter classes, on the other hand, the role serves well in analyzing material's and plant's properties, which can then be used to invent new things. The class also has the skills to make medicine, poisons, and nerve agents.

'They sure are quite energetic about the science thing. Hmm, the game is actually quite generous for starting players off with two classes, it's not something we usually see in games most of a time.' He thought deeply in his mind.

'Alright then, I think these two should suffice, though I didn't pick a combat related class, like the [Marine] for example, or even the [Agent], [Gunner], [Sharpshooter], [Officer] or [Pugilist]. I don't think I'll need it, I'll just make my own weapons for self defense when it comes to it though.' A seemingly optimistic thought was inside Danny's mind.

After finally picking his two classes, he decided that it was time to press the 'Finish' button that was at the bottom left of the list...

But then the familiar female voice blessfully said:

"Since you have not picked a combat class, you will be granted a free weapon crate to keep yourself safe from your enemies..."

"Oh, um... Thanks I guess?" There was a metallic crate shown on the screen, that is the weapon crate. 'Honestly, I didn't expect to pick up a secret bonus just for not picking any combat orientated class for protection...' He honestly thought to himself.

He wondered about what everyone else would have chosen as their two starter classes, he wouldn't imagine of the others choosing two non combat related classes, at most he could only think of them only having one class that isn't combat related, which they would likely accompany with a combat related class. But he believed that the average player would have chosen two classes for combat, just for extra firepower and strength, unlike Danny who enjoys building and making things in games the most of a time.

After a few seconds of thought, he decided to continue by pressing the 'Continue' button.

Which was followed by the same voice: "Would you like to open your character sheet before you enter officially enter Cosmos?"

"Hmm... Sure, I don't see a reason not to, go ahead, show me."

All of a sudden, a character sheet of himself appeared:

-[Enhancement] -This skill allows you to upgrade any tools, equipment, machinery, vehicles and buildings if you feel like something needs upgrading.

-[Engineering] -This skill allows you to build and make things.

-[Apply knowledge] -This skill allows you to think up new devices and items by using the knowledge you have, it is also possible to use more than one knowledge, or fuse the principles of your items together to think up a better device, however this will cost knowledge points and any empty blueprints you have.

-[Analysis] -This skill allows you to analyze items, materials, plants, substances, and their properties.

-[Observation] -This skill allows you to observe the behavior of animals and people.

-[Dissection] -This skill allows you to dissect corpses for research.

-[Calculation] -This skill turns you into a living calculator, capable of calculating the speed of movement.

'My my, that is what I like to see!' He thought in his head, though it said that his [Psionic aptitude] was absolute zero, that was something he could get in the future...

'Alright, it's about time for me that I were to set off!'

As he pressed 'Continue' a white light covered his entire vision.
