I'm usually not a fan of writing a review for myself, as I deem it unprofessional. Thankfully, this book is everything else than professional—if you want to read a serious story, I advise you to visit my other novel 'Rebirth of a Broken Demoness', however, if what you are looking for is a fun and carefree one, you'd be right to stay. As the synopsis alluded, this story has a system and a store—two very common genres on this website, I believe. Maybe you have noticed, but years before, system-novels were primarily parodies (History's number 1 Founder, black-tech internet cafe, IRAS, Ultimate scheming system, strongest system etc.). They made fun of gaming novels and its ridiculous trope of adding 'luck' (like a lottery, RNG or monster drops) as a major story-point in a universe entirely controlled by the author. A system is a deus ex machina, and these authors knew it. But now, with more and more systems-novels surfacing, what was once parody has turned into seriousness, and the comical ideas of an almighty system is lost in these new books—oh, the irony. So I write this story to bring back what was once lost, in a sea of system-novels that has lost its core. Yes, this is a parody on a parody. This story is about life and death. A story beyond fate, and what it means to be alive in the face of death... or something like that. Read it, that's why are here after all. —and that is why I shamelessly decided to give me 5 stars. I mean, if I do it, at least go all the way, right?
What a very unique story. Blows your mind, at least mine. Haha. The humor incorporated in the story really makes you read on. I can imagine, this MC will have much story to tell having lived so long. The novel is perfectly written as well, the grammar and word usage brings it a notch higher. Looking forward to learn from this novel and good luck to you, author.
I wanted to hold on for a little more chapters before writing a review, but here we are. So, as I am writing a review, I feel I should do it correctly, as such, I will bore you for remainder of my time. Writing quality. Perfectionist/10 Stable updates. Everyday/10 Story development. Interesting/10 Character design. Expressive/10 World background. What world?/10 There you have it, a high quality boring review. Okay, in all honesty, it’s a good story so far and I am enjoying it. It’s not boring, and the characters are fun and entertaining. It seems like a lighthearted novel so far, so don’t be expecting dark and depressing sh*t. Give it a read and I think you will enjoy it. 9.9/10 ( I don’t like giving perfect scores )
What's been written so far (a single chapter) has been solidly written. I shouldn't even have to explain how important the first chapter (and the first arc for the matter) is for the author. Good job, mate. I see you've gone with Eastern Fantasy. I've personally have gotten tired of stories regarding cultivation, immortals, and the Dao. But worry not, that's just a personal opinion - it doesn't affect the review in the slightest. I also noticed that you've decided to incorporate a 'system' element into your story. I honestly find myself loving and hating the use of systems in novels. As a reader, I love characters with systems; As an author, I abhor the use of systems in novels. But no doubt, the great majority on this site will love that you've made a system (a sentient female one, too, to boot) for your MC. It is what it is. You do you, man. I'm sure the story will pan out nicely under your watchful eye. No doubt, that poor system will get bullied some more down the road, haha. It's a personal request, but I hope you keep your comedic heart when you continue writing the story - too many authors lose sight of that when the plot gets serious.
The storyline is very interesting..... The concept of the story is copied from the novel black tech internet cafe... But the story is well-executed till chapter 40... And the story is kind of intriguing... But the worst point of the novel is that the author does not upload chapter regularly... But the story is worth reading...
Author has done a really great job here. Readers can see that author was really meticulous. Every single detail was described intricately. When the light traveled, or when the system changed themselves or their thought process, every-single-details. The progress of the story is well paced too. I only read until chapter 15+ so far. But overall it's recommended. Thanks for introducing this novel to me!
This is one of the few novels that I would say have as high of a quality as the top novels it's like the one great novel about selling modern technology to cultivators but it is much more entertaining I would put it at a way of the devil/10 in quality. Just pump out like 3000 more chapters every day and I'll be happy.
The author has created a wonderful and comedic world which I've already fallen in love with. The characters are diverse, and well developed. If I was to say one complaint, I can't get enough of this story, although the author puts out at least a chapter a day which is already really good and appreciated! I can't wait to see where the story goes next!
(As of chapter 19) Writing quality: Is actually good. I haven't found any problems reading it and if there was a mistake I don't remember it because it was probably something very minor which didn't inhibit my reading. So 5/5 Update rate: Update everyday I believe. So 5/5 Story development: So far so good. The comedic undertone is pretty funny and story itself is pretty captivating in itself. Like the author said it's a light hearted (almost slice of life with wuxia or whatever it's called elements atm). I honestly like it so far. It's kind of like that new novel that came out recently here with the dad and daughter and restaurant system(drawing a blank on the title atm) that what it reminds me of at least. Character design: Can't say a lot since there's not much source to base it on. However the MC and system is a comedic duo with fun interactions. There isn't really anything to write home about rn but it'll most likely get fleshed out as more chapters come out. World background: Can't say much rn but it's very chinese martial art novel-esque and the world is bigger than it seems at first glance? Overall it's an enjoyable read if you're looking for something light with good updates and writing quality. I'm enjoying it so you might too!
