What's Your Play?

Nandito kami sa isang part ng grocery. The farthest part of the grocery where you could find the bottled waters with the other beverages. And my partner for this mission is no other than feisty-pants, Shannara.
Sinisimulan naming punuhin ang cart ng tubig pero dahan-dahan kaming gumagalaw dahil may mga zombies din sa paligid namin pero unti lang siya. There are also other things that I noticed about zombies. They tend to act "human" in their own little ways because I tend to see them looking at things and holding them, but they fail to hold on to them properly. Hindi masyado mahigpit ang pagkahawak nila kaya usually, yung mga hawak nilang gamit, nalalaglag sa sahig and they would just move forward or stay stable.
Tinignan ko ang malaking push cart na kinuha namin and I shook my head. "This cart is going to be heavy for us to push." pabulong kong sabi sa sarili ko at tumabi sa akin si Shannara.
"I saw you give that gem to Sheloah a while ago." pabulong niyang sabi sa akin and we both stared at each other. "What's your play?" tanong niya sa akin and I smirked as I was getting the water bottle inside the cart.
"None of your business." I answered directly at napalingon kaming dalawa ni Shannara to check our area. Instead, nakita namin na si Tyler at Geof tapos na pala kunin ang mga kailangan nila at kinukuha na ni Sir Erick at ni Sir Jun ang mga kinuha nila. Veon and Isobel on the other hand are holding 2 baskets while they're slowly walking towards our other comrade's direction.
We both returned our attention to our task. "Don't play dumb. You think I don't know what that gem is? Dannie simply said that the male descendent of your family would give that to ty want to marry." sabi pa ni Shannara sa akin and I looked at her as soon as she ended her sentence.
My cousin just couldn't keep her mouth shut.
I sighed in exasperation. "If you knew, then you shouldn't have asked." pabulong kong sabi sa kanya and she just smirked at me.
"Please… That's not what I meant. I thought you already gave up on her." sabat niya sa akin at agad ko siyang tinignan and I scoffed at her statement.
"Oh, thanks for the statement, Ms. Feisty-pants. But it's like what you feel, too." sabi ko sa kanya at nilapit pa ang mukha ko sa mukha niya. "You couldn't give up on Veon, right?" dagdag sabi ko pa at umiwas siya sa tingin ko and she slightly pushed me.
"Pretend that I didn't raise this topic." sabi niya na lang sa akin and I chuckled silently.
"Don't ever think that I simply cannot understand you, feisty-pants." pabulong ko na lang na sabi sa kanya at tinuloy na namin ang task namin para sa mission na ito.
