😭😭😭 i'm crying too. i think the dream is Darren's subconsciousness that still hold that regret of not saving Xiu just few minutes late and all those bitter time after her death blaming himself. hopefully with this dream, he will relieve himself from that guilt and really move on..

I think Darren's mind needed a break . He basically never moved on from Chen Xiu's suicide. But because he got to know our Xiu , he could ignore that pain and insecurity.Now when our Xiu's life was put in danger again and that is also in front of him, all the previous and new regrets, fear , insecurities overwhelmed him.

The ‘art of sight-seeing’ 😂 Wasnt that when Xiu and Nora would check out and rate the men they saw while they were at the park right? love it 😂 Its nice to see Regan face fear and regret of his. I always felt like a part of him was still hung up on this and he needed to face it sometime

It's definitely Darren's biggest regret when he was late seconds before Xiu's death and failed to save her. The Xiu in his dream tells him that he had save her in a different way. She indirectly asked him to let go the past Chen Xiu and shows him that he still has his own future, his own family with the Xiu he loves so much. And maybe with this he can accept the fact that indeed he had failed to save her life and he can't change it, but he still has his future and he needs to move on. Acceptance is a big step to move on. That's what came to my mind. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love this cause its Darren letting go of his regret of not saving chen xiu and he knows that he will forever regret it but he is not letting it get to him . I love how he calls xiu sweets cause he doesn't want to confuse chen xiu with sweet as he knows that she doesn't want to be treated like chen xiu

I guess purpose of this dream sequence is to make Darren move on, to make him feel guilt-free and fear that he has inbuilt of losing Xiu again to looen down a bit and be a bit relaxed around Xiu and maybe somewhere in his subconscious mind he blames himself for Losing Chen Xiu and what ifs like Xiu has in her mind that if he came a min before, what would their life be like..
