These past few days, Andrea had worked at Lu-Wei Enterprises with Arti in the afternoons. Lu Fang would leave first in the morning and she would follow after lunch. In the evening, they would come home together, often having dinner outside before reaching the Starlight Penthouse Suite.
It was a Wednesday afternoon when Andrea had just finished reviewing the progress of Global China's projects. She then proceeded to hold a meeting with Andres Islands' managers through video conference. Given its current struggle and the division in the marketing plan, it was high time for her to visit the islands herself. She needed to speak to the shareholders, especially the new ones.
Like her, most of the shareholders do not reside in the Maldives. This is because of how small and insufficient each island city was in the country. Many could not bear to live there for more than a week or two. For Andrea, Maldives is merely a vacation destination, but never a place to make a home.
