Choosing the events

Oren led Leon to the arena nearby. Along the way he said, "Don't tell any one else about being locked up at home and being under surveillance. Only me and a few high ranking members of the Council of Fire know about the situation. If you are wondering the information has been hidden by the Nature continent form the public and most clans."

Leon nodded. He was then brought to a room with a list on a wall and the rest of his team sitting and talking with each other.

Oren spoke, "Now every one is here, let's begin then."

Every one quieted down. Leon sat down as well.

"This list shows all the activities of the tournament. There are ten activities one on each day.

So the first day you will have a simple strength measuring contest. You will have to attack a Measurement Stone and the one with the highest member wins. Two people will have to participate from all teams.

On the second day you will have a two vs two battles between teams. So we will need to form a pair that will fight the other two teams.

On the third day you will be allowed to enter an alternate space. In it you will fight monsters and the person with the most kills wins. Two people from each team can participate.

On the fourth day you will have a shooting contest. One person form each team will have to shoot down a target. The person with the fastest time wins.

The fifth day you will have to chase a lightning Spirit Bird in groups of three. The team that captures it wins.

The sixth day their will be a three on three between the three teams.

The seventh day one person from each team will have to go through an underwater labyrinth with their beasts. The winner will be decided by who gets out first.

The eighth day will be a one vs one battle between the three teams.

The ninth day will be a Capture the flag type battle. The teams will complete against each other in stealing a flag on the side of the other teams.

The tenth day will be a free for all with all teams in an alternate space are allowed to fight until only one team is left."

The ten nodded, they understood the events.

"All of you will be participating in the last two events, as for the other events you can only choose at maximum two more."

Leon quickly choose two events, "The first and third event." Those events would be the best for him and it was what he would normally choose, he also assumed the others expected him to choose those events.

Odin also nodded, "I'll be going for the first and second event as well."

Abigail spoke, "Leon I understand why you choose the third event but I don't think you should go with the first. I think I'll be much better at It since I have higher attack power in one hit if I can prepare."

Albert spoke, "I think both you and Leon wouldn't suit the first event. I think I and Odin will be best for it since I have the strongest beast."

Flavia laughed, "I think your forgetting me, I'll be taking the first event."

Eventually it was decided that Leon would take the first event.

"Guys don't worry, You all have things your better at doing. I'm the one that will recover the fastest after giving all out attack."

Soon everyone was given an event. Leon left and was led by Oren back to his house.

"The restriction has gotten a bit more lenient. You can now go out and train with the rest. But you can't leave the housing area." Oren said and then left.

Leon nodded, "That's fine."

Leon spent the next three weeks training with everyone.

Leon mainly fought with Odin. Other then that he would fight with the Griffin for all his battles.

He trained hard with the others. They all had reached a higher cultivation level as well. All of them were at least at level three summoning Expert.

Jolene had contracted a new beast. It was a beast that could transform into a spear. She had also asked Leon to train with her.

The rest had the same beasts just stronger and better at fighting.

While this happened the Chimera had started preparing for the stealing of the branch of the Tree of life. The decoy team was successful in letting the two gain more trust. Now they started planting the bombs in the cities.

The Chimera had spent the time leveling up. It had reached five Greenstars. It hadn't evolved but it's abilities had changed. Not only did they get more stronger it also gained a few more.

Other then that it spent the next few days talking with Leon about the plan.

After leaning about the effects of the Tree of life being cut Leon wasn't so sure if he wanted to go through with it. He needed a leaf for the Cherry Blossom Forest but to get a branch might be too much.

In the end Leon decided that it was better to go through with. With the branch he would be able to evolve the Butterfly, as well as the Cherry Blossom treeling. Other then that he even had to give three leaves to the Chimera.

"I'll just have to make sure no one finds out or I'll be living on the run again." Leon thought.
