THE LUSTY FRIEND

Steve had chosen the most expensive restaurants in the city for their first date. He had just booked a private room on their way. This place was not just tagged as the best it was the best. Booking were usually done in advance. It was a place to dine exclusively for business meets or the powerful political bodies.

Steve being a gentleman helped Jessica out of the car once they had arrived. He looked dashing in his casual attire. They walked in the restaurant as people admired them from a far. It was not surprising that they were welcomed by the staff as soon as they entered.

They were led into the private room. The room had a romantic and calm atmosphere. Light romantic music played in the background and the room bathed in blue. Seeing the room Jessica's face flushed red. Blue color represents lust.

"You didn't like it? We can get it changed if…" Steve was behind her as he just received a call from his PA. He thought of teasing her after seeing her face but was stunned to see the room. It looked like someone else wanted to tease him and he very well knew who it was. He excused himself and went out of the room.

Standing in the lobby, he fished out his phone and dialed a number.

"Hello, buddy. How was my gift?" The voice from the other side was lazy and melodious.

"What gift? That room is full of blue? Do you have a death wish?" Steve said in a dangerous tone.

"NO, NO… I just wished that you had a peaceful dinner. Why did sister-in-law not like it?"

"Yeah, I know you well. I have to deal with a call and then I will return to the room. And I would love it if the room goes back to normal otherwise I may turn you black and blue. Did you get it, Mister ZENIFER!!!!" Without waiting for a reply he cut off the connection.

His mind was filled with multiple thoughts. He was afraid that Jessica may misunderstand him and get angry. He was very mad at his friend's stupidity. After a while, he calmed down and collected his thoughts before returning to the room.

The room was changed by the staff as it was the command of their higher-ups.It took less than five minutes to get things back to normal. The staff were ashamed and politely apologized. Jessica accepted their apology before going inside the room. She decided to wait for Steve before placing the order.

After a while, Steve entered and they placed their orders.

"Please don't mind the decorations before. They were planned by my friends who own this place I will ask him to apologize. I am sorry, as well." Steve said sincerely and it was sure that he was feeling guilty. Suddenly, an idea popped up in the mind of Jessica. She smiled and said, "do you think me so much despicable that I will make a fuss over this small prank? Mr. Smith, what do you take me as? Let me tell you I am not a woman you are thinking I am. Let me warn you if you want to marry me you should trust me."

Steve looked up at her and his guilt level increased by ten folds. He instantly explained himself, "no Jessica, I know you. I am sorry. I just thought you were feeling bad. If you want I will get Zenifer to personally apologize to you and I never planned to hurt you. I am sure about marrying you and I trust you more than myself. Believe me."

Jessica was stunned by his guilt. Her teasing act had hurt him. It was not his mistake that his friend played a prank. She felt bad and was uncomfortable, but deep in her heart, she was relieved that he was willing to trust her even though they had never met and nor spend time to know each other.

"Hey! I don't mind. It's okay to play pranks. And be prepared for the more pranks that are going to happen to you in the near future." Jessica said to lighten up the atmosphere and it worked! A smile lit up his face as soon he heard her words.

"Also, I just received an invite from the Fang mansion. They are having a party, we need to go to the mall." She exclaimed as she eyes the delicious food that had just arrived. he smiled and nodded his head. They started eating as soon as the food hit their plates.

They enjoyed their meal. That day they both decided on meeting more often and being dedicated in the relationship.

After the meal, they both went to the mall. They had enough time to shop to their heart's content as the party was in the evening.

It took them three hours to select clothes. The problem being that they looked perfect even in rags. At last, they finalized a formal-casual attire. Steve took a navy blue tuxedo with a white under shirt and Jessica decided on a knee-length Blue satin dress.

They both bought their clothes. There were hardly two hours at the party. Steve reassured Jessica that they would reach in time as they headed home to get dressed. He had ordered his makeover team to come to the family mansion to help hem get dressed and do the final makeover. Thankfully till the time they reached the make-up team was there and they got ready in time.
