"Mind your own business, system." Shera rebuked and took up the tray.
Just as she finished setting up space, her phone chimed, and she knew that the man had arrived.
She walked out of the room, peeked in to check that it was perfect, and then headed downstairs.
"Are you ready? Wow… you look like…" His eyes went wide when he saw her. He had never seen her look this beautiful as an adult.
"I look like what?" She narrowed her gaze and probed.
"Ahem… like yourself—my future wife."
The second part was a mumble, but she heard it, and her expression turned stern. "Will your mouth catch fire if you don't speak nonsense?"
Leo chuckled. "Seriously, you look so beautiful that I couldn't find the best compliment. They all sound like an understatement."
She remained expressionless, so he asked, "Where are the tickets?"
"What tickets?"
He frowned. "Aren't we going to watch a movie?"
