"I knew Shera was unhappy. Oh my God…" Heidi was on the verge of tears when she caught the girl with the lighter flicked on. She looked at the patch on the net, caused by the fire that had just been put off.
Without having a second thought, she made a call to a psychologist and had someone go and pick him up. In the meantime, she hugged Lola desperately. As expected, the girl had suffered a huge trauma. It just didn't show in the past, but it was there—and they had been too careless to notice.
It took several days of persuasion from everyone in the household to convince Shera to accept therapy. If they had been slightly more late, Shera would have developed severe post traumatic disorders, including depression.
Although it had not progressed to such scary levels, it still took a lot of effort from the psychologist and the family to pull her out of her trauma.
