Off on the way home

Friday 14th April, 1723: 9:00

Finally, we are setting sail and going home. I look behind me to see the land of Antarctica shrinking away. I felt content to be leaving but also guilty towards my friends that died there, and will no longer see their families anymore.

The journey home felt quicker then the journey to Antarctica. As well the waters was calm. I can say it was a good journey to London, everyone was helping each other out on the ship, me and Robert took turns driving the ship and we was all singing to make us feel better while travelling which seemed to male the journey much more faster. When it got dark we stopped and had a rest for a bit since me and some of the crew members was tired.

After we had all got some sleep and was fully rested and had something to eat, we set off to London. The wind had suddenly gotten a bit stronger, but that wasn't really much of a big deal since we could still drive the ship easily, but it did make the journey a little faster.

I can say the journey back was calmer, we had no problems and no one died on the way back to London which was a relief.

Soon we finally got to London. When we got close enough to the docks I parked the ship, and saw that a lot of people was waiting for us.
