17 Chapter 17

In this short time he began to surprise his parents by taking his first step when he turned 5 months old. However, they were just a few baby steps for a short couple seconds

Today his mother was putting out the dishes for dinner. As Tony sits on the doorsteps to wait for his father. Outside it is pouring rain on the populous city streets.

Then he heard a click on the door knob as his father entered in with his soaked hair draping on his forehead. His mother reaches out to fold her husband's umbrella.

As her mother was about to say something to her husband they heard a youthful high pitch voice, "Dada how's work?" This was the question that her mother always asks her husband when he comes back from work.

The young couple looks down to see their young son who's still in his diapers. Tony looked back at them with curious pairs of eyes.

Soon glancing into each other's eyes to make sure that they weren't dreaming, "Did you just heard that Honey?" His father asked in a whisper.

Soon her mother squats to look at her young son and with examining eyes asking, "Woohyun did you just…"

In his past body as Duke he already was able to speak by the age of 8 months and walk by the age of 7 months. So it is not strange that with the increased Soul Power that he can develop an even stronger physical composition.

"Mommy?" Tony asks with a voice of innocence, pretending not to understand. He doesn't want to be blowing everything out the door all at once.

"Oh my gosh hubby our son learned to speak!!" Saids her mother excitedly as she hugs her husband.

'My son's a super-prodigy?' His dad asked himself.

Then he cradles Tony's head gently and questions, "Woohyun when did you learn to speak?"

Tony pretends to think deeply as he rests his head on his hand then slowly spoke, "Probaby when Mommy red to me."

"Reading to you-"his father asks again but is interrupted by his wife.

"Stop asking our Woohyun so many questions. Let's eat dinner, the food's going to go cold," her mother saves him from the interrogation and picks him up to his chair at the table.

If the two parents are surprised by their son's suddenly prodigious abilities they would soon be scared out of their minds. When he was just three years old Tony surprised his parents with a colored children's book called "The Very Hungry Caterpillar".

Which not only shocked his father who owns a publishing house and knows the true value of his child's 'art'. Beyond that, the next year with the help of parents he was able to publish a dozen or so short children's books.

Soon the world begins to catch gossips of a child prodigy who's a master at writing in the children's industry. Finally at his mother's birthday he coyly stole the book "Charlotte's Web" and made it as a dedication to his mother.

That was the first time people openly found out that Tony's responsible for the many new popular children's books that are part of his father's publishing house.

And when he turned to just 5 years old Tony was hailed as a genius writer. Moreover by exploiting the publishings of numerous famous children's authors he's earning well over 50 million dollars per year.

But the mission 1 completion is only 34% meaning there's still a lot more work that needs to be done to establish himself on the world stage.

Soon in his 6th year in this world Tony decided to step up the level by writing longer stories that resembled a more developed fiction novel. Using cornerstone works like "Matilda", "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", "The Prince", and "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz".

However, now that he turned 6 his parents decided it was time for Tony to begin studying with fellow kids of his 'age'. And he disputed that what they are teaching at school would only "bore him to death".

But his parents are one of those traditional families who values an education so they made a promise that if he can pass the test of a school administrator he would not need to go to school.

Despite being an already quite well-known author many people still don't recognize his appearance. So the school administrator who was doing a test on Tony simply treated him like any other similar age kids.

He just thought well maybe his parents are like one of these Korean father and mother who has huge aspirations and got a little education for their children. Hence not much thought was put into it as he was meeting the family.

His parents took him to this large school in the city, there wasn't anything outstanding about this school other than the strict requirements that are necessary to get in.

Tony always finds that the school education systems in many countries aren't fair and justified to children of poorer families. Due to many school's exorbitant pricing that favors the rich and the lack of education possibilities for the poor who can't afford tutoring.

Going inside the prodigious school there were only a few staff members found to be organizing for the new school year. After getting into the office area the couple was greeted by a mid-age man who's in suit with his hair a little brush back and wearing a black frame glasses.

The man rushes to shake his father's hand with a kissass smile, "Hello Mr. Ji I'm so honored to finally meet you! We include many of your books as part of our school library. The children absolutely love the work you publish."

"Thank you. Well this is my son Woohyun Ji my secretary mentioned" his father simply nodded and then proceeded to introduce Tony while nudging him a little on his back to walk forward.

Smiling at Tony a little bit and went back to more ass-kissing without taking more notice of the young child while directing them towards his office.

In the office his parents were seated on the chairs to the side of the front end of the table. While Tony was seated in the middle seat of the front end facing the administrator.

Then the administrator took out a small three sheet packet and slipped it to Tony on the desk.

"Here Woohyun, this is a basic mathematics and grammar test that all students have to take in the beginning of the year for the teachers to track the student's progress," the administrator explained.

"You have 20 minutes to finish the test...Starting...Now," He then clicked a timer on his hands. Continuing again in a conversation with Tony's wealthy parents trying to establish rapport.

In less than 50 seconds since he picked up his pencil and began writing he's already finished, "Okay I'm finished!" Dropping his pencil down after finishing the last question.

"Okay that's great Woohyun--Wait you're finished!!" The ass-kissing administrator took the paper and started to look through the answers. Seeing the correct answers on the first page he took out an answer sheet to double check everything.

"H..How did you do this?"Finishing looking at the answers the man looked at Tony.

His parents only look to each other's faces with a well meaning grin. Knowing that their kid would slap that guy's face with his mental calculating speed.

Next the man took out a 2rd grade test to make sure that this is not some kind of weird dream. Watching Tony as he finished the 2nd test with ease in 1 minute.

Soon the administrator's face grew more and more weird in disbelief as he handed Tony the 3rd grade test, then the 4th grade test, the 6th, lastly a middle school 8th grade test.

'WTF! Even I can't do this all in my head!' The guy thinks to himself.

Seeing the frozen face of the guy sitting in front of them his parents already know for themselves Tony passed all the test with a perfect score.

Standing up from his seat his father spoke to the administrator, "Excuse me teacher. I got the answer I needed today, we'll be taking our leave.' Then the family left the officer as the administrator slacks in his seat.

"What can I teach? True prodigy…" Muttering to himself in a quiet voice as he looked at the door where the family left. Most children who are quite smart would perhaps skip 1 grade.

At most he has seen a kid skip 3 grades in his experience as a principal in the school. Even that is already considered a super-prodigy kind of intellect for a young elementary kid.

But what just happened in his office can only be described in one word: "Monster". Never has he heard of a 6 year old kid having the intellect to skip 8 whole grades. Not even in the whole history of Korea's education system.
