Early the next day, all of the students of Magus Academia were gathered at the school's square.

Mu Lingxi and her dorm mates went there together. As their seniors, Long Yue and Long Fuzi also tagged along. Other older students were also present, curious to see new faces of the fresh buds accepted in the Magus Academia.

On the elevated platform erected at the very front of the square, the teaching faculty was towering over the thousand students' populace.

"Everyone, old and new students alike, welcome to Magus Academia!"

It was the schoolmaster, Yin Shun, who spoke and in an instant, the students quieted down. Waiting for what Schoolmaster Yin was about to say.

The school master's voice was neither loud nor soft. It was as if he was talking casually but everyone on the square can hear his voice clearly as if he was just talking next to them. Every single word he said seems to travel through the air going directly in their ears.
