Resolve

Lounging by a lotus pond near her bedroom was Jiang Yingyue trying to process all the information she had received that morning.

After she had woken up, she was helped by the two young girls from before and was wheeled out of the room on an antique wooden wheelchair. All she could see, after leaving the room, was blue skies. There were no skyscrapers at all, anywhere! Although, it helped confirm the fact that she had transmigrated. It also diminished her last piece of hope that this was fake, even though she had just seen her new appearance.

As she entered another room of the manor, the bear like man helped her sit on a chair near a table filled with food and patiently explained to her, while answering her questions. By the time he was done, she was blown away by the preposterous identity she now held.

The body that she was currently in was 8 year old and coincidentally had the same name as her. Apparently that bear like man from before was her father, Commander Jiang of the army. While her mother was the daughter of the Duke of Gu. She was the only daughter and granddaughter in these two distinguished family, causing her to be spoiled beyond belief. She was a little unruly daredevil causing the two families to tear their hair out in worry especially because she couldn't walk and would commonly have bouts of sickness.

However, this body's mother had apparently passed away a few weeks ago after giving birth to a son. Giving birth to children, truly was having one foot through death's door. Due to the pain of losing her beloved mother so soon, this unruly girl's temper became worse and created so much trouble that she soon fell terribly sick.

Although, she didn't have much attachment to her previous life, it was difficult having been thrown into another time period. All the customs and traditions of this age was new to her.

Sighing again, Yingyue thought of her new life in this patriarchal society.

"The young miss is sighing again, Xiao Hong jiejie what should we do?" Xiao Lan was extremely worried. Her young miss has never been the type to sit quietly by the lotus pond and sigh. It was scaring her.

Xiao Hong looked at her young miss with worried eyes and said,"... For now, I think we should let the young miss rest." Even if she wanted to do something, there wasn't much she could do. For now, it would be best to accompany her young miss.

It was quite the shock for them as well when they had discovered that their young miss, due to her sickness, had suddenly lost her memories. These two young girls were both the personal servants of Jiang Yingyue. They had both been with her for a long time and deeply cared for their young miss. Xiao Lan was currently 6 years old. While, Xiao Hong was about 10 years old and unlike Xiao Lan she was much more mature for her age.

"I'm alright now," Yingyue suddenly said shocking both Xiao Lan and Xiao Hong.

"Young miss, are you sure you are okay now? You have been acting really weird," Xiao Lan said worriedly with her big eyes staring straight at Yingyue. Having been with Yingyue since she was very young, Xiao Lan was much more sensitive towards Yingyue's new developments.

"Yes, I am, you girls can stop worrying now. However, can you help bring me inside," said Yingyue.

After sitting there for half a day contemplating, she had decided to live life to the best of her abilities. After all, what else could she do.
