Alaric's 'Security'

The mayor, captain, Alaric, and Barry all ran up the town's walls. They stood tall, and the mayor had around 80 guards in total for the town. They all had their weapons and were prepping themselves on the wall.

They looked out into the distance and could see a massive army of skeletons shambling over to their town.

The captain asked the guard who came running in earlier, "do we have every available hand on deck?"

"Yes, sir. We've woken up all those who were on a break, and taken those who were off duty as well."

"Good, make sure all rifles are prepped to fire, and that the guards will only fire on my order."

"Yes, sir!" The guard ran off to inform the other town guards.

Alaric asked the mayor, "my offer still stands ma'am. If you'd like to hire my services, my ship and men will defend your town."

The mayor was sweating and nervously laughed, "I have confidence in my town's guards! I do not need your 'services.' Take care of this captain."
