Terrorist Attack

Alaric and his squad returned to Irigia in a personal vehicle. Not many soldiers knew of this "special squad," so they had to stop at every single government checkpoint before they got to Preah.

Sarah said, "is it just me, or are there an abnormal amount of checkpoints today??"

Eli agreed, "no, you're right. There are a lot more checkpoints than there used to be. I'm not exactly sure what that means."

The squad continued observing the countryside and noticed the increased amount of soldiers in even the tiny parts of Irigia.

They were stopped and checked for hours when they finally made it to the edges of Preah. The mechas and machines outside were numerous, and there was almost no gap between each mecha.

Alaric suddenly had this awful, gut-wrenching feeling and was the first out the door when they finally got inside the city.

Eli yelled, "Hey! Quit taking off on your own!"
