Long Rant, SKIP BELOW THE LINE TO SEE SHORTENED VERSION.

I'm thinking of re-writing this story. When I began writing this story, I initially was just really bored because all the originals that I was reading were updating too slowly, or just randomly dropped. So, I tried my hand at writing a story, with one of the best powers that frankly no one ever uses in fanfictions. I only realized the difficulty in introducing a cultivation system to a world like Marvel after I began. There were issues, like understanding the upper limits of each cultivation rank, and generally just how to compare two completely different power systems.

When I planned out this story, I had to research so many things, just because I didn't want to piss anyone off by misrepresenting something people hold dear. I still managed to do that because the DE Wikia, has as much useful information as a children's book on evolution. But, even beyond that, I came across many inconsistencies with my story. My MC was emotionally unstable, and I understand now that trying to mix the emotional stability of a 10-year-old, with the mental age of an adult was a mistake. I understand that this was a mistake but give me a break, this is the first story I've written, and it was without a thorough plan.

My planning basically consisted of me just noting down the timeline of Marvel events and planning out how to progress through it while still being believable. Yes, I may have used plot armor to push the MC's mom into dragging the MC into events, but how else am I supposed to bring a 10-year-old MC into the action who already has everything he needs to grow stronger (Also a mistake). I'm certainly not going to give him a hero complex, like Spiderman or Archer (Emiya).

This isn't me trying to bash on people who leave comments or reviews that criticize my novel. No, I welcome it, it helps me grow as a writer and helps me improve my story. Honestly, some of the comments have given me new ideas, and avenues that I originally wasn't going to explore; i.e. a sect. Sure at the start, some reviews and comments hurt as a writer. People leaving random reviews that bashed on my story without even reading it, and then having to deal with trolls just spamming my novel with bad reviews. But as time passed, I looked past that, because so many more people were supportive of what I was writing, and it was honest to god uplifting.

I was initially going to rewrite my novel after the 10th chapter, but with the growing support, I decided to just keep writing it and see where it got me. I now understand why novels take so long to release chapters or sometimes go on hiatuses. Pumping out a chapter or two a day is mentally exhausting especially when your plans start derailing. It's difficult to write a story where you only have a general idea of how you are going to progress.

----------------------

NO, I AM NOT DROPPING THIS STORY, BUT I AM GOING TO REWRITE IT.

I decided to rewrite my story while keeping the elements that I and so many others enjoy it. I'm going to rewrite everything, changing the background, and character interactions so that the story feels more cohesive, while also trying to fix plot mistakes. I will keep the cultivation system because I think with some changes (to his wishes) I can actually make it work. It will probably take me a week or two at max to completely rewrite my story. When I relaunch it, I will try to have a minimum of 15 chapters out on the first day(fingers crossed).

The only question now is whether to re-post the story here or if I should just make a new one.

Leave a comment below, telling me which option I should choose.

Also, leave comments below of things that I should add to the story (I may or may not use).

This time when I release it, I will make his romantic status clear in the beginning, so as to not lead anyone on.

Finally, I want to thank everyone who read this novel, donated power stones, commented on it, and posted decent reviews (This does not mean just reviews that have good ratings, but also reviews that explained their standpoint.)

Thank you for reading,

Have a Good Day.
