54 Going to School and Writing
A good number of authors in Webnovels are still going to school. I always felt respect for these authors because they are able to sneak some time in their busy schedule to still write their stories.
There are a few authors I know like Rianolinon, and Zehell who updates on a daily basis. These two are the princesses of the 'Daily Updates and Fantasy section' and their novels are often featured on a weekly basis.
There was an author in the Inkstone Server that once said that as long as you can update on a daily/regular basis, you will get readers. In my opinion, this is very true. When I was still a reader, I prefer reading novels that are updated on a daily basis. It gives me something to look forward to every day.
Also, updating on a daily basis gives you a higher chance to appear on the "Daily Updates Section" that can only be seen (I think) when using browsers. Well, most people read using their cellphones while others (like me) prefer to read them using a desktop.
For new writers who want to have traction/exposure in Webnovels, uploading daily chapters might give you that fan base you are hoping for. Of course, you also need to write an interesting story in order to make them stay.

Reinesse: I was playing cooking mama at five yo.
Rianolinon: Well, I was playing plants vs zombies.
Namake: That reminds me, I've been wanting to download overcooked.
Reinesse: Same.
Rianolinon: Some strategy game that involved like different teams.
Mr.McGuffin: I played Roblox "Illegally" in elementary school becoz I could trick the teachers into thinking it was something else.
Rianolinon: and u needed to get resources, and build stuff, and get troops then wage war that game was so difficult.
Namake: @Mr. McGuffin I have done 3 school projects where I used roblox or minecraft to build them. God I miss highschool *sob emoticon* It was so goddamn easy.
Mr.McGuffin: My school system has a vendetta against tech.
Rianolinon: I suck, I dont do homework. I surprisingly type my novel once a day, but I don't do homework. Priorities at best. Just like how I should have finished typing my chapter 2 hours ago.
Elyon: You got your priorities messed up.
Rianolinon: Yet I am still typing it.
Mishak: How do guys manage school and writing?
Rianolinon: School work in school. If I don't finish well rip me.
Mishak: You find time to finish school work in school?
Rianolinon: Nah. I don't even do it.
Mr.McGuffin: Ummm, work school work writing coffee then the cycle repeats lol. That is my summer schedule at least.
Mishak: It was impossible to do anything other than school work especially when I was in high school.
Mr.McGuffin: haha. Nah, HS is a joke. I've had one hard class and that was bc the teacher hated me.
Mishak: HS is a joke? *flushed emoticon*
Mr.McGuffin: still got an A. Yeah I finished all my HS requirements by my 11th grade year. I can technically graduate a year early, but i get free college classes if I don't so.
Mishak: Hmm well, it was one of the busiest times college was fun.
Rianolinon: Hey, do realize Mr.McGuffin literally gets 100% on everything don't even talk to that inhuman being.
Mishak: Haha.
Rianolinon: I'm human ok, I'm getting C's.

Mr.McGuffin: College is okay so far. But all I'm doing is the classes in the morning then racing back to my HS for all my electives like Building construction.
Rianolinon: Honestly what should I go for in college if I want to be an author?

Rianolinon: Or should I just go for Computer Science anyway?
Mr.McGuffin: I'm gonna be an engineer.
Mishak: Go for Journalism.
Rianolinon: My delicate fingers aren't made for engineering.

Mishak: I hated HS math.

Elyon: Journalism is a good course if you plan to stream and be a vlogger.

Elyon: It depends on the country. Here in the Philippines you can buy a whole cake for $10.

Authors Thoughts
This past week, my friends that are still in University/College had their exams. Most of them were very anxious about their upcoming tests and were studying (or not) diligently to pass them.
Because of this, some were not able to write their chapters because they had to study. I can only wish them the best (and laugh at their misery). May all of you be able to pass your exams with flying (failing) colors!
