Chapter 3: Establishment

He started dragging her to his carriage, he threw her in and told the coachman where to go.

The girl pleaded with him to let her go but it was no use, she pleaded once more, before she could finish her sentence, he had slapped her, leaving a red stinging hand print on her smooth pale skin.

She winced at the feeling of it, closing her eyes she tried dreaming of her parents, but she dreamt of nothing, she couldn't think right.

Without realising where she is as the curtains were drawn shut, the carriage came to a stop and the man once again dragged her out.

Her eyes went wide with shock and fear, she had tried desperately to escape the man's grasp, she was crying, pleading but it didn't work, he had taken her to an establishment for those who had no one, some were auctioned at this place, being sold off to people willing to buy. The guards weren't nice there, the others weren't as nice either, on some rare occasions you would meet someone who needed company to get through the establishment.

Hearing screams and cries already, the girl was shaking in fear as they entered the building. A lady had approached them and took the girl in her hands.

"Thank you for another one to add to the pile" She said while staring at the man with a small fake smile. The lady had started walking away from the man with the little girl with her. Looking down at the girl for a couple of seconds, what a beauty, too bad she's going to live an unpleasant life in here she thought.

While walking with her, she could tell just by holding the little girl's hand, she's shaking terribly, she gave a small unnoticeable smile as she saw this.

Entering the main part of the establishment, she had taken the girl to her cell with her wearing provided clothing. The clothing, which was provided were old, material like a rag and had been torn while it was fading to a lighter disgusting brown colour. The cell was unclean, like it wasn't cleaned in a long time, it was cold. They weren't given any sort of warmth, even the blanket was like a rag, it was small and dirty.

The little girl was afraid and was only trying to get some sort of food, but she ended up in this type of place- an establishment where they had no one and were destined to go insane.

Crawling to the corner of the cell, trying not to listen to the screams and cries of pain or sadness, she was catching every guard's attention as she looked different from the other young ones, she had beautiful long black hair with a hint of dark brown highlights with crystal pink eyes and pale skin.

Without wanting to witness or hear the scene that played out near her cell, a slave prisoner was getting beaten by a guard as they weren't doing what they're told, Alicia could hear and imagine what was happening to the slave, closing her eyes shut even tighter and covering her ears with her hands, she tried to block out the cries she could hear.

She began to cry.
