Traumas like this arent something that can be so easily recovered from. This isnt the same as simply being skillful enough and putting in the effort to improving your strength to overcome enemies. To recover from something like this, theres no telling how much suffering Shiro is going to go through. Even the strongest of wills can be broken, and with such a deep wound being broken through again, especially given how much she has gone through, Its going to take a very, very, very long time to recover, and even then it wont be fully. Emotional wounds are different from physical ones in that while its possible to physically recover from even the worst of injuries, emotional wounds ALWAYS leave scars, no matter how small. Sometimes they add up, and eventually break the person. Sometimes, they leave a scar so deep within that its impossible to go back to the way things used to be. I sincerely hope Shiro gets through this well. While she may never be same again, I can only hope she wont be crushed any further.

And Hemera was beaten due to her avatar not being stronger, Gaia is more than likely going to suffer the greatest backlash possible, short of ending her Primordial life.
