Chapter 2

You slept in your bed. HP and MP are fully restored.

It was an absolute routine for Harry to reject this buzz. He had to wait almost two months to have enough free time before the big holidays, but it still paid off. It was true that every weekend he could do one or two tasks. And not every time he got a reward in the form of Exp points, sometimes he got more money, which he didn't mind.

However, what pleased him was the level increase, so he no longer had Lvl. 2 but 4 like Dudley. Some levels have increased with levels so he kept Status Body in stock, though he has only 10 of them so far.

Harry wondered if to divide them between WIS and LUK, but he had no idea what Luck would be useful to, and he didn't want to waste his precious points. In the meantime, he mainly focused on raising the status of the tasks he received from the neighborhood.

He also found out that INT was able to keep up with continuous study, but it wasn't as easy as he first thought, so he was going to visit the local library. There, however, he had to have 10 years to enter the library, which was far away. When he had no access to the local library, he had to wait for the school year to start attending school.

He also practiced his Skills, mainly thanks to his relatives and Lvl in Cooking. 9 and Washing Dishes Again Lvl. 8. From the beginning, the levels grew fast, but now it took him a little longer.

When the second Saturday of the first holiday month came, the flea market leaflets were sent everywhere not far from where Harry lived and decided to look around, definitely needing newer sneakers, some clothes would be bent, no matter what he thought about dumbbells or training weights.

Like every year, there were a lot of people on the flea market who were just walking around, but there were plenty of sellers. Harry didn't believe his own eyes on what was going on there. Although most of the things were really useless to him, he liked to look until he hit a pile of assorted shoes that were not entirely new but still usable for a year or two.

He bought decent sneakers for two pounds and bought five different T-shirts, a pair of shorts and a pair of jeans that had been stuck in his knees for a few pounds, but he was better off when he was wearing Dudley clothes.

He also found brand new socks that were sold by a market man. He bought five pairs of supplies before he reached several tables where old books from all sorts of genres were spread. Each book had a price of three pounds, so he thought long about what to buy but eventually decided on a handbook on how the economy works and how to dispose of money sensibly, which interested him. He added two older books on science. By chance, he came across the old book Isshin-Ryu Karate for Beginners and next door was the Art of Swords for Beginners. Harry bought both of these books and headed out of the market to save his purchase in the Inventory and get back right away.

He spent less than an hour at a flea market when he came across a collector of various weapons for collectors. Many of the weapons were partially covered with rust, but he didn't do anything about it because he saw a beautiful katana that was only 61 centimeters tall.

"I see you like the katana my grandfather brought from Japan. He got it from one local man when he and his family saved his life. This katana is from Shinto and has something three hundred years ago, "the man said at the table, and Harry looked up at him.

"My father is a passionate collector of Asian weapons, how much do you want her to do?" Harry asked with a lie, knowing that the man wouldn't have sold it to her otherwise. Katana wasn't in the best shape, but he guessed he could get Skill in the future. that allows him to fix it into her original glory.

"180 pounds, but I'm afraid you're too young to sell it to you," the man said, and Harry thought about it. He didn't have that much money and there was no certainty that the man would be there for the rest of the week and someone wouldn't buy it in front of him. .

"My father would be really pleased to give it to him as a gift when he returns from China, where he is on a business trip. I offer a hundred pounds for her, "Harry said, and the man frowned slightly.

"Okay, but a hundred pounds are few. I could cut the price to one hundred and seventy pounds, "the man offered.

"No, one hundred and five pounds," Harry offered, hoping he could pull him to the price he definitely had.

"Oh, you're a very tough kid for a little boy. One hundred and fifty pounds, what about you? "The man asked, and Harry shook his head.

"I'm sorry, but I have no more than a hundred and thirty pounds, I would have a hundred and fifty, but I bought some books a few tables away," Harry apologized, ready to leave, but the man stopped him immediately.

"Okay, okay, I'll sell it for you a hundred and twenty-five pounds to get something left, but I hope I don't hear you stab at it somewhere, understand?" The man asked, and Harry smiled from ear to ear.

"Certainly, thank you very much!" He said cheerfully, handing him the necessary banknotes before he took the katana and ran home.

A special Skill was created through a special act.

Being bargained with a dealer has earned him the Skill of Hiring Lvl. 1.

Bargaining - Passive - Lvl. 1 - By haggling with sellers, a player is able to reduce the cost of items to his advantage. The higher the level, the easier it is to reach the target price.

The new ability pleased him and he hoped to gain further experience with it. Indeed, the flea market was supposed to be held until the end of next week, and if he could earn something again in the week, he could visit again. At worst, he could have gone there for a year when he had a much larger amount of money and would not have to look back on what he wanted.

There was a small forest behind Zobi Street, although for Harry it was a big forest, another he didn't even know. Few people went there, so it was the perfect place to practice leisure. He found his favorite clearing, where he sat on a stump at the edge and opened his Inventory to look more closely at the new books, especially Isshin-Ryu Karate for Beginners and the Art of Sword for Beginners. It hadn't happened before, but as soon as he was alone and grabbed the first book, a blue window appeared.

He got the Book of Isshin-Ryu Karate Skills for Beginners.

Want to learn this Skill?

Harry didn't think about it for a long time and touched the button to receive the teachings. The surprise jumped up and rolled down from the stump as the book burned in his hand, and he eventually realized that he remembered the entire contents of the book.

You've learned Isshin-Ryu Karate Skill for Beginners.

Isshin-Ryu Master Karate - Beginner - Passive - Lvl. 1 - Isshin-Ryu Qatar is a martial art allowing players to use their body as a weapon.

- Difficulty levels: Beginner-Advanced - Expert - Master

- Unlocked difficulty: Beginner. Unlocking another level of difficulty requires Lvl. MAX for Beginner difficulty and Isshin-Ryu Karate for Advanced.

Harry quickly reiterated the process with The Art of Sword, and a table with what he had learned appeared before him.

He Learned The Skill of Art Swords for Beginners.

Sword Master - Beginner - Passive - Lvl. 1 - The Art of the Sword is the art of controlling any sword. Each level of Sword Master gives you a bonus of + 1% to attack with a sword.

- Difficulty levels: Beginner-Advanced - Expert - Master

- Unlocked difficulty: Beginner. Unlocking another level of difficulty requires Lvl. MAX for Beginner difficulty and Art of Sword for Advanced.

- Beware, there are a huge number of styles in the world, beware of choosing the right style for your needs. On Expert difficulty, it is possible to learn additional styles for other types of swords.

- Current focus on style: basic attitudes, cuts, and blocks for all kinds of swords.

- Note: The player can choose only one type of sword he wants to study at the next difficulty level.

This information was not very pleasing to him, but he still had a single sword, and that was the katana he had bought this morning. The problem was he had no idea how long he would last if he wanted to train with her. So he also pulled her out of the Inventory and began to look at her carefully to see every defect.

A special Skill was created through a special act.

Through careful observation of the subject or person, you have acquired the Observation Lvl Skill. 1.

Observation - Active - Lvl. 1 - This skill allows you to get basic information about a person, subject, situation, etc ... The higher the level, the greater the chance of revealing additional information.

Harry waited for nothing and looked at his katana while activating his new Observation Skill.

Shinto Katana

Age: 362 years

Damage: 4 - 9

Lifetime: 100/150

Info: This Shinto katana is very old but still in great condition. Partial corrosion damage is caused by neglect, corrosion can be slowed down by proper treatment of the gun and regular care. Katana is suitable for training and fighting against weak monsters, beware of clashes with other weapons, can reduce weapon life and its subsequent destruction.

Harry nodded in satisfaction at what he had learned about his new weapon, and used the Observation several times for other items he had with him.

With the constant use of Observation Skills, you have increased the Level of Observation by 1 level.

After waving this message, Harry decided to spend the rest of the day practicing Isshin-Ryu Karate and fighting the sword, more precisely, katana. He had no opponents against him, but he did not mind it so far, he intended to adopt all the attitudes, punches, kicks, hops, cuts, blocks and points even though the whole system helped him.

It was a couple of hours later when he saw the buzz saying that each of his new abilities now has two levels more than at the beginning of his training and he has also increased the points for STR, VIT and DEX one point at a time.

A brand new regime began on Monday. He had three Tasks each day that he could accomplish in the morning or shortly after noon. He also earned 20-30 pounds each day, which he liked because he went there for a week, when he was a flea market, and always bought three different books for £ 9. He was disappointed that there was no other manual he needed in the future, but he was going to save money to buy it later, he had to reach the maximum level anyway, and he had no idea what level it was.

During his quest and expeditions to the flea market he used his Observation Skills and tried to raise her by finding out all sorts of information about different people. Over Sunday and Monday he managed to expose this to Lvl. 5, but then the process slowed down a lot and he started to count on how much he needed to use the Skill to get the next level. He knew there would be a different number for each level, but he hoped that if he did more accurate information, he would find a system and he could predict how long it would take.

After a flea trip, Harry always headed for the forest on his clearing, where he spent three hours training, practicing with katana, Isshin-Ryu Karate and trying to figure out how to meditate for an hour.

4645/5000

In the evening, when he returned and washed quickly, he prepared dinner and ate only what he had bought for his money. There was not much, but it was still more than they gave him the Dursleys. After dinner, he retired to his staircase, where he devoted himself to studying the books he bought. Thanks to his studies, he was slowly raising INT and occasionally a point to WIS when he used what he had learned in everyday life to make it a little easier.

On the weekend before the end of the flea market, there was a bit more people coming back there, after all, it was a weekend and not everyone had time to pick up their goods on the table during the week. Harry saved a hundred pounds to spend, and went there again to look for something that might be useful, but besides other books he bought this time for only two pounds, he didn't buy anything big. He just got a folding knife there, where he definitely saw the use, especially in the woods, where the mushroom growth should start in a month. Because the Dursleys didn't want to buy him back to school again, if they didn't really, he bought a whole set of crayons and pencils and several workbooks. Two blank for drawing and counting in math, one squared and three lined. He knew he would get some books from the school, but these were for his own use for extracurricular activities.

He had no longer to spend his weeks on other weeks, except for the food he learned very quickly in the various markets that were held all around. When his relatives were not at home by chance, he cooked all sorts of ingredients from the ingredients he had bought and stored in Inventory, so that he no longer had to fear that he would starve.

Aunt Petunia threw out several plastic bowls because they were no longer fashionable and did not sit with the new dishes she wanted to buy, and Harry used them to take them for himself and picked up a few liters of blueberries, strawberries and raspberries in the woods. While performing the tasks for the neighbors, he could also take some baskets of apples, plums, and Mrs. Mayer had a few pear trees in the garden from which she also collected enough pears. For she was retired and could only walk on crutches, allowing him to pick up the rest of the pears in the crates and send him to the marketplace with two of them every day. He could always keep half his earnings, and when he saw how much he could earn there, he spent some time collecting apples and plums for sale at the marketplace.

He didn't collect so much to make some miraculous money, but it was definitely enough for his circumstances, and he definitely welcomed the extra money.

As his birthday approached, it was clear to him that the Dursleys would give him no more, and he would do even more work, so he rested for the whole day and went into the forest he was going to explore.

Surveying the forest, he saw several hares, occasionally a deer and a couple of squirrels, but therefore nothing that threatened him was also gaining confidence and venturing into a much deeper exploration than ever before. At first, the forest seemed to be on one big level, but after a few hours Harry arrived at the rocks that rose to one side on one side and fell to a deep depression on the other.

There was also a stream, from which he often drank when he was thirsty, not that he did not have three liters PET bottles filled with clean tap water at home, but natural water tasted much more, was refreshing and always felt strengthened.

He carefully examined the edges around the entire depression, and the stream he liked to drink was changing into a thin waterfall that filled the pond below. Despite the fact that Harry had done it twice, he didn't find a single path down and climbed down the pointed protrusions seemed too risky. In truth, he saw a few dark holes in the bottom that could lead to a cave, but they could only be niches he hadn't seen and led anywhere.

Because the hours passed very quickly, he went back to his clearing, but not before he saw the entrance to the cave. He went to the entrance to look inside, but it was too dark to see somewhere and decided to let the exploration go for another time to get the lamp to go blind. He had no idea how his life would change again until he entered the cave and reached its end.

As he expected, the Dursleys had completely forgotten his birthday, but it wasn't annoying, it was exactly the same as every year before. However, this year's birthday meant that in a year he would be able to enter the library himself and borrow books he wanted without his relatives knowing. Although he will have to make a year with the school library, he has also promised that from now on he will no longer hold back and show everyone what he is capable of.
