Chapter 49 - Zouken Death

In the middle of the night, Shirou was walking slowly almost without a sound going out of the Emiya Residence. Right now Shirou only have one a purpose by going out silently without Rin, Saber or Sakura knowing and that purpose was to kill Zouken Matou. His hate to Zouken was increased hundred times after he knew what Zouken do to Sakura.

There is no way that Shirou will let Zouken alive after he doing something so bad to Sakura. If Zouken was an ordinary human then Shirou will feel a bit guilty by taking the life of another human. But fortunately Zouken was a monster so Shirou can kill him without remorse or feel bad.

Right when Shirou arrived at the gate of his house, Archer the true heroic spirit Emiya not a copy that reside inside his left arms already waiting for him while crossing his arm in his chest.

"Where you will go, younger me?" Asked Archer.

"You are me, Archer. So I think you can already guess where I want to go," Shirou replied with a cold tone in his voice. "So don't try to stop me!"

"Who said I will try to stop you?" Asked Archer. "You are free to do anything what you want, but are you sure that you are strong enough to beat an old monster like Zouken who clearly have experience in fight more than you who can be said as an amateur? Even though you having my ability. I don't think you can beat him even with Denial of Nothingness inside your body."

"I knew that the action that I want to do right now was stupid and reckless! But I don't care! I will kill him no matter what!" Shirou said while tighting his fist so badly.

"Sigh, you maybe already giving up to became a hero of justice. But sadly that recklesness of your hasn't change at all," Archer sighing, he is happy that his younger self wouldn't end up to became a Counter Guardian just like him but he is forget if his younger self already determined to do something than he will doing it no matter what. "Well it look like I don't have any other option, let me help you kill Zouken. Even though I know that you did not like me at all but you must to admit that I was a Heroic Spirit that superior to you in every aspect that can giving you a chance to beat Zouken."

Shirou gritted his teeth, he didn't want to admitting it but he knew that Archer was right. He doesn't have enough power and experience to beat an old monster like Zouken who are clearly more stronger than him. Even though he already having two great ability like the Nano Machines and Denial of Nothingness but he not enough experience to use the Denial of Nothingness and the Nano Machines. So Shirou really need an external help from Archer if he want to beat Zouken.

Both Emiya Shirou, one who came from alternate timeline Counter Guardian Emiya and another one who have a chance to alter his past are already arrived in the front of Matou Mansion. And Archer easily destroy the bounded field that protecting the Mansion, because both of them going to that house to kill Zouken both of them didn't even try to hide their presence.

Zouken who are alerted when the Bounded Field who are surrounded the house is destroy, arrived in the frontyard of his mansion in instant and in front of him he can see two people who already standing in a battle stance.

"Zouken Matou today is the day were you will die! As the payment to all the thing that you do to Sakura!"

Shirou already tracing the same bow that Archer use and ready to shoot out a Noble Phantasm or Broken Phantasm that he altered into an arrow.

"Emiya Shirou, one of the Master of the Holy Grail War and the little boy that was loved by my granddaugther and the Servant beside you was the Servant who kill my Assasin," Zouken said with a creepy smile. "This is good! This is really good! I can kill a boy that hindering the progress of Sakura Magecraft and also kill the most dangerous Servant in the Holy Grail War!"

A thousand of worms was creep out of Zouken body and his shadow was elongated like a ribbon. He really ready to fight both Shirou and Archer at the same time.

Shirou who already really angry to Zouken and didn't want to wait anymore longer, shoot out the arrow from his bow and the arrow was hit right on Zouken body and blast his body into a thousand pieces.

Archer knew that Zouken will not die by only the explosion sword that Shirou altered into an arrow. So he shooting out another Noble Phantasm that he knew strong enough to burn all the pieces of worms that shaping Zouken body.

Laevatein the sword that Archer shoot out was a Noble Phantasm of Surtr, the syncretism between the sword of flames regarded as Surtr's armament, the sword of the sun owned by God Frey the blade that was forged by the Scandinavian God Loki. A Divine Construct that supposed to be impossible to made by his projection Magecraft. Because his projection Magecraft didn't have an ability to tracing a Divine Construct.

But in one of his mission as Counter Guardian, Archer accidentaly found the real thing and then keeping it inside the Unlimited Blade Works.

And because of that he can made the copy of Laevatein, because the real Laevatein was exist inside the Unlimited Blade Works for a very long time.

Because Laevatein was a flaming sword with lickering heat that reduces everything it touches to ash. A sword that strong enough to kill all the worms that Zouken have. The best weapon to kill a type of enemies that have ability like Zouken.

The Laevatein hit right in the place where Zouken body was destroy into a thousand pieces. And the super hot flame that appear from the Laevatein burn all the worms that wrigling together into an ash. The side effect of Laevatein flame not only burn all Zouken worms into ashes, but it also burning the Matou Mansion and killing Shinji Matou who are still sleeping inside his room.

"Archer the attack that you just do is too much!" Shirou shouted. "That attack of yours also destroying the Matou Mansion! I didn't care much about Shinji that was killed because of your attack! But there is alot of Sakura private stuff that also burns because of Laevatein! Why did you must to use a Divine Construct like that to burn Zouken Matou!"

"Sigh, like I said before younger me, to kill a tricky enemies like Zouken Matou we must not holding back anything at all! We must to use anything that we have at our disposal to kill him, and in my case I choose the best weapon that was strong enough to burn all the worms that he have so that he can never regenerate again," Archer said who are stomping his feet into one of Zouken worms that was still alive even after he burning it using Laevatein. "But, I'm surprised that you didn't care at all about, Shinji? Aren't you still considering him as one of your best friend? If I'm not wrong?"

"No, I'm no longer considering him as a friend, after I knew what are he doing to Sakura!" Shirou shouted. "There is no way I will let a dirtbag like him alive!"

"Hmm, you are really different from another you that I met in another Holy Grail War. You are more brutal and didn't want to became a Hero of Justice, who want to save everyone in the world. And what you really want was only to protect the people that was dear to you. You really are will not turn into me, the Counter Guardian Emiya the stupid Emiya Shirou who made a deal with a she devil and bound to do a killing forever," Archer said with a satisfied smile on his faces.

"No, I don't want to became another you, who want to save everyone. That was a stupidly impossible dream that you cannot achieve no matter how hard you try. Only a God a real God that was came not from any myth that have ability to do that kind of thing, and try do a thing that a God can do was the thing that I will never try to do," Shirou said with a cold tone in his voices. "I already break the curse that was came from Emiya Kiritsugu our old men when I decide to dedicate my self to let Sakura out from her misery. But how about you Archer, are you still living in the curse of our old men or you already destroy that curse."
