she is engaged to her fiance. she is in love with her fiance. But she has no problem with letting scandals like this go out and get publicized or whatever just to take revenge and ruin someone's reputation. why do people always write this like a trope? It's so freaking disrespectful to the person you're in a relationship with unless you let them know in advance and they agree with it. by doing this she is agreeing with the idea that the initial heartbreak and panic her fiance will feel due to this purposefully crafted misunderstanding is worth a little petty revenge. under normal circumstances I would say she's a teenager and she's just being stupid and can't think ahead but this woman has already lived a whole life where she died. she should know better than to play these stupid games.
