A Human And An Elf

Victor was so confused at the moment and he wasn't the only one as everyone quickly backed away from the dragon now standing tall in front of them. The creature looked peeved as hell as it lifted its foot and shook off the flattened mix of armor and squashed red guts, clearly not a fan of the feeling of having touched a combination of dick and pussy.

The creature looked like a typical dragon, which is to say a serpentine body with four legs, scales, wings, and the ability to bresthe fire which he was currently softly breathing out his nose. The dragon was really red and really big, around as long as two school buses from head to tail and about as tall as a two story building. Its wings were quite large, much larger then its body which explained how it was able to lift its large muscular body off the ground in the first place.

While everyone seemed to be in shock over what had just happened, someone took the time to hop off the back of the dragon and land in front of the 6 guards further surprising them. Even before the person took off the cloak that they were wearing, it was plain to Victor that the person underneath was a female purely because of the way that the person walked forward and held herself. Of course it could also have been a slightly gay man taking the same pose a female would but Victor preferred to think it was a woman.

"Are you idiots the Golden Lion knights issued under his majesty, King Leopold Histaka?" The cloaked figure asked with a very feminine voice that further proved it was a female under the cloak. "Your under arrest for treason and a number of other charges that will be brought up later in front of his majesty. Resist and you'll die right here and now."

The knights didn't even so much as hesitate to throw down their weapons and fall to their knees, not even bothering to put up a fight or even flee. It was probably because they realized it was futile to escape a dragon and would die one way or the other. With their leader dead, they didn't really have any other ideas except to surrender and keep on living for a bit longer.

Turning from the knights to Victor, the cloaked female finally addressed him. "Are you part of the knights as well?"

"Your not very smart are you?" Victor responded as he backed up and once again took the still unconscious fox girl from Julia and into his arms. "All you have to do is look at us and you can clearly see the clothes we're wearing don't match up to the knights. Sure we could have switched clothes with one of the dead, but honestly that would prove pointless because your obviously arriving unexpectedly. You think I knew you were coming and decided to dress up in order to avoid suspicion?"

The cloaked female looked over at the three of them, her face hidden by her hood. "Very well, I shall let you off for today. However I will ask you to state your name and place of origin so as I may take note of you in the future."

"My name is Victor Stone," he answered without hesitation. "However its usually polite to give your own name before asking someone else. Its basic manners."

"My name is Nira Asugawa," the cloaked female answered. "I pray that we never meet again for it shall probably be your last. Before I go however, I'll give you some advice to give to the other villagers. To the north of here around a day and a half journey lies another village of demihumans who will probably take in the survivors."

"Okay...and why are you suddenly being so generous?" Victor asked as his gaze drifted over to the dragon.

The female paused before answering. "Its....the polite thing to do. Its basic manners."

After saying that the woman then began the process of tying up all six knights to the dragons leg before climbing back onto the back of said dragon. "This whole village will be burned down in a couple of seconds by my dragons flames so I suggest you get as far from here as you can. I need to purge the remaining knights from existence."

"Consider us good and gone Miss Asugawa," Victor answered as he took off with a light jog while holding the fox girl. "Lets move Julia!! We gotta get back to the villagers. This whole village is as fucked as this day has been!!"

The two of them ran as fast as they could manage while the dragon flapped its large wings and took off into the sky, causing a huge gust of wind that nearly knocked both Victor and Julia off their feet. However the two were able to remain standing and continued to create some distance between them and the village.

They were a good few hundred feet from the village when the heat suddenly spiked to an insane degree, causing Victor to stop and turn around. It appeared that the dragon had begun its crusade to burn everything to the ground as it soared through the sky emitting deadly hot fire that Victor and Julia could feel even from where they were standing.

"Come on Master Victor," Julia said softly as she walked ahead of him. "We should get going."

"Wait what did you call me?" Victor asked as he began following Julia. He hadn't heard her correctly since he wasn't entirely focused but he was certain that she had called him master. "Repeat that again for me?"

"Nothing, its not important," Julia replied as she rushed ahead. The group of demihumans were just a little ways away and she now decided to rush on and ignore Victor completely.

"Huh, what a weird girl, must be a tsundere," Victor said to himself as he walked over to the group. It had only been around an hour since he had left them but it seemed as if in that time this group of people had pulled themselves together significantly.

A group of three rushed over to Victor and surrounded him. He assumed that they were the family of the fox girl and handed her over to them without complaint, a bit happy to be free of the weight of the unconscious female. He was just happy that he was able to save the girl from a tragic fate and was equally happy that he saved dozens of lives from a painful demise even if he couldn't save everyone.

Victor watched as everyone else gathered around the girl, looks of happiness showing on their faces that told him this girl was genuinely liked by the villagers. Some of the demihumans even cried a little at the sight of the fox girl, a fear tears falling from their cheeks. It was truly an emotional sight and despite not wanting to interrupt, Victor had no choice as he wanted to keep everyone moving along.

Victor stepped up and loudly cleared his throat which greatly startled the others who were in their own world. They were all snapped back into reality as their gazes rested upon the human who had rescued them from captivity.

"I'm sorry for interrupting your beautiful moment but its time to keep moving," Victor said in a commandimg tone. He wasn't too experienced in addressing people let alone a huge a*s crowd, but he ignored his discomfort and spoke anyways. "We currently have no food, no water, and no shelter. Honestly you would be pretty f*cked over if I wasn't informed about another village just north of here that will probably take all of you in."

The others seemed to finally realized how bad their situation really was. Now that their home was burned down, they had no clothes, shelter, food, water, or even money. They had literally nothing except each other and the clothes on their backs. If they didn't start moving to this nearby village soon then there was a 100% chance they would die from dehydration or starvation.

"Okay, so if your ready then set out in ten minutes to the north," Victor turned around and began walking away. "I hope you guys make it to the next village and wish you the best of luck."

Victor made it about steps before he was grabbed by the back of his shirt. Looking back, he saw a rather confused looking elf staring at him with her blue eyes.

"Where are you going?" Julia asked as he held on tightly to his shirt. "Aren't you gonna escort these people to the other village? Are you already going to give up on these people?"

"Well, I guess this is as good a time as any to let you know the truth," Victor replied with a small smile as he turned back to face Julia and the crowd who was also a bit confused. "The truth being that I'm not even from the world."

"What?" Julia asked, taking a few steps back. "Thats such a ridiculous lie. Weren't you one of the villagers who lived here? I thought you one of them."

"Well thats kinda a leap in logic," Victor said with a small smile. "A single human in a village of demihumans. Its possible but highly unlikely that I would belong here. No, I'm afraid that the truth is that I found myself thrown into this chaos witbout even realizing it."

"I come from a world where magic and other species such as demihumans and elves don't exist." Victor turned back around, preferring to look away from their shocked faces. "The only reason I helped all of you was purely because it was in my interest. I'm neither a good guy nor am I a bad one. I simply helped you because I felt like it."

"But what about me?" Julia asked as she grabbed Victors hand. "Why did you rescue me from slavery? Was it also because it was you simply felt like it?"

"Well.....yeah, I found the use of your healing magic quite convenient," the young male replied with a bitter smile. "I had no noble thoughts of freeing a slave or even making you my friend. I only used you for the simplicity and nothing more."

Victor tugged out of Julia's grip and began to walk away, to the direction opposite of where the villagers were heading. However, once again he was interrupted from going forward, but this time it was in the form of a full on tackle that nearly knocked him over. He didn't even need to look back to know who it was, to know thaf the person now clinging to him was Julia.

"I don't care," Julia said as she wrapped her arms around him. Her grip was light that if Victor wanted he could easily break it, but he refrained from doing so. "If it means being of use to you then I'll still follow you. You may not be a hero to others but your a hero to me, one who was good for nothing more then healing. I owe you my life and for that you have my loyalty and whether you like it or not, I'm gonna follow you."

Victor couldn't really say anything at first, but that was only because his original intentions had become useless. He had tried to imitate a character from an anime and act all cold to everyone so he could move out alone. He was going to find a way back home and didn't need anyone getting too attached to him.

However, it seemed that someone was already attached to him and completely destroyed his plan. With this one girl claiming she'd follow him, he felt compelled to just let her as it would no doubt cause her pain to just straight up leave her here. Though it would cause him problems down the road, he changed his mind and decided to simply allow her to travel with him for the time being.

"Just don't slow me down," Victor said as he turned his head and gave her a small smile. "If you cant keep up then I'm not gonna wait for you."

Though she was kinda surprised that her plea had actually worked, Julia quickly nodded and fell in step beside Victor as the two of them walked forward, completely turning their backs on the confused villagers.
