The Legend of Phoenix

"Where are we?" Yuina whispers to Hayden.

Now all of them are on the high ground where they buried Akashi's body and all the crew lay a bunch of flower in front of his grave. Giving him the last honor.

"We might be at one of the abandoned islands," Hayden replies to Yuina.

He actually feels curious about Freya's identity. She is indeed beautiful, par as a princess, her act and behavior also look more like a princess, but.. from which kingdom? Also, she's no ordinary girl.

After the crew gives the last respect to Akashi, Freya opens up a portal for them. "You all can return back to your home. Just wish where you want to go and went inside the hole."

With her word, one by one the crew went inside the portal. Each of them saying thanks to her before they depart. This is something unusual for Yuina's group to see. They never thought that Freya will be respected by their crew that much. Contradiction with her attitude toward Yuina. Oh, yes...She only dislikes Yuina.

After each of them returns back to their home with the portal, Freya turns around and look at the group.

"Let's go. Next stop will be Peridot." She said and taking the lead to the ships.

All the dragons return back into their stone form. It's better if fewer people see them.

"Okay, listen up. This area.." Freya spread out a map in front of them while having dinner. She pointed her finger on the location.

"This is what they call dumpster sea. Which all sailor believes most of the other universe waste is falling from the sky in this area. We'll reach this area tomorrow afternoon. So, I need your help to avoid this ship from hitting any waste that falling from the sky. I heard one of you could control the gravity?" Freya looks at each one of them except Yuina.

Yuina did not take it to the heart. She already accustoms to her behavior. She always wants to take a lead and make them listen to her. But, well…as long as it did not harm anyone in the group, Yuina did not care at all. This is her ship. Of course, she can take control of it.

"Can't we take another road? Avoiding this area?" Zane ask.

"No. In this season, if we took another road, we'll end up eaten up by either Kraken or Karkinos. So…dumpster sea, it is." Freya looks at him.

"Well…if that the only choices then…I'll try my best." Zane wink at her and she just making an annoyed expression.

"Hey..actually...I wonder. Who are you? Why do you know how to use magic? How did you master it? Not only that..why did you know so much information in our kingdom if you're not from our kingdom?" Grey squinted his eyes a bit. His doubt toward her as much as Hayden's.

"Well..take a guess. It's no fun if I'm telling you." Freya smirk a bit.

"You're a traveler?" Farrell took the first guess.

"You could say so."

"Historian?" Zane also asks her.

"Also true."

"Aren't you pirate?" Kyra frowned a bit.

"Yup. That's what I do for the past few years."

"Wait. Wait. If you do all this kind of job, then, how old are you?" Again, Zane asks her with a bit of curiosity in his mind.

"Take a guess."

"Twenty-six?"

"Fufu...I won't tell you guys except if you guys guess it right."

"Hayden. I'm tired. I'll leave first." Yuina standing up. Ready to leave the dining hall.

"I'll send you-"

"No, I'm good. Goodnight." She holds Hayden's hand from standing up. She did not want to interrupt them from having fun. And she also tired today. So, it's better if she leaves first.

Somewhere in other earth.

"Hey, Ning Zhi...Hurry up." Zhing Li shout a bit when seeing her friend still absorb reading a book while walking down the hall.

"Huh? You go first. I'll catch up with you later." Ning Zhi just took a short glance to Zhing Li before avert her eyes back to the book.

"Urgh…stop reading that old book. It so boring, you know." Zhing Li commenting while rolling her eyes.

"Just go."

Shake her head, Zhing Li leave her and went to the classroom. This time now is a lecture with Prof. Zi Yan. He's a very handsome man and the rumor said that he is someone from a noble family.

That is why she was so fired up to go to this class. She left Ning Zhi who is still walking behind her.

Ning Zhi focuses on reading the fictional historical story about a Phoenix girl who saves the kingdom by uniting with the beast from the kingdom. It attracts her interests by how brave the girl is.

Without looking in front, she bumped with someone on the hallway.

Thud!

"Ah! Sorry." She immediately bows her head and wants to pick up her book that fell on the floor.

But before she could pick it, a large hand already pick up the book and that makes her turn her eyes the person she bumped with.

She gasps a bit when knowing it was her lecturer who took the book.

"I'm sorry, sir. I did not look ahead when I'm walking." She said with a bit nervous.

Zi Yan looked at the title of the book. "The Legend of Phoenix? Isn't this book is one in the restricted document room?" He asks with frowned in his face.

He used to go in and out from the restricted document room to do his work and research. That is why he knows about this book. He's quite surprised when he saw this book is in his student's hand.

"Uh…yes, but I do my research base on this book. Just for quick reference." She stammering a bit. Well, actually her research did not involve this book at all.

She just finds it quite interesting and that is why she took this book out of the restricted document room. Because she is one of the library committees, she makes an exception to borrowing this book.

Zi Yan looks at her for a moment before he handed her the book back.

"Returning it back tomorrow." He then went inside the classroom followed by Ning Zhi.

She secretly exhales in relief. At least she did not get asked more details about this book. She hurriedly put the book inside her backpack and ready to listen to the lecture for today.

After a whole tiring day finish, she returns back to her apartment where she lives alone. Her family lives in another City. Thus, she renting a place which is closer to her university.

She fills up the bathtub with the warm water and went to put her bag inside her room. When she wants to go back to her bathroom, she suddenly remembered that she still not finishing her reading yet.

She opens up the bag and fishing for the book. Once she retrieves it, she went back into the bathroom. Taking off her clothes and soak into the tub. 'Ah~ so nice.'

She turns the page where she last read before she bumped with her lecturer.

"Hmm…where is it.." She flips one by one until she reached one page that has a mantra on it.

"Eh? What is this?" She looks closer to the page.

"Hmmm…" She tilts her head a little. The mantra is in an ancient language which she doesn't know. But the more she looks on it, the clearer the language is.

Without her knowing, her mouth starts to read the mantra. The water in her bathtub start to swirling into a small vortex.

Once she finishes reading the mantra, her body slowly sinking into the vortex and she suddenly fell into a dark place. She was just like waking up from the dream when she remembers that she was in the bathroom, taking a bath, but then suddenly she was pulled by something that leads her to this dark place.

She becomes panic and starts swimming before she sees a light at the top surface of the dark place. She had no choice except to swim to the light.

She tries to breathe in once she was pop out from the surface. But then, the mysterious event happens again when she sees a vast sea upside down of her and she falls from the place again.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!"
