It’s always a bit sad to me the original FL in these stories are dead. Wait until “Lan’er” gets stronger was the plan, but it didn’t really happen because “Lan’er” died at the start of the story. It’s just the set up behind plot, but the original weak FLs never had a chance in their life to get stronger.

It is ti.ed like these when you truly realize death is to good for some. I do believe this is one of those cases
