"What?" Hope widened her eyes, surprised at Kace's request, but then she narrowed her eyes. "You saw it, right?" Her voice was laced with accusation.

"Saw what?" Kace feigned an innocent face, but Hope elbowed him again and he laughed out loud. "You look very captivating when you are angry."

"Oh, in that case I will get angry every day." Hope rolled her eyes and pouted her lips.

"But, I love your smile better." Kace leaned over and kissed her temple right in front of the house. "Don't kick me, okay."

After that, Kace moved away from Hope as if the girl would throw a punch at him for what he did. Well, it was nearly impossible, as he had been kissing her for over seventeen years now.

"Come here, I will give you a good slap across your silly face." Hope gritted her teeth. She was unsure, whether she was shy because of the kiss or she wanted to stop herself from smiling.
