Besides the rigorous training that Zen is undergoing, he also often tries to trace Shizuku on the whale island.
But everything ended up failing because he could never see her wherever he tried to search. It made him think that Shizuku had disappeared from the world.
'Maybe she has left the whale island?' Zen thought. He was relieved but also cautious; however, there was still a possibility that Shizuku was still on this island.
Anyway, his relationship with Mito has been going more and better in recent days.
Because Gon left to follow in his father's footsteps, this has made Zen often visit Mito to chat or bring some food to her family.
He tried to make Mito not saddened by Gon's departure.
And of course there is better news than that, suddenly freecs grandmother told Zen to accompany Mito to find some herbal plants in the forest. It seems that Freecs grandmother ordered that because she was suffering from a mild illness which required several herbs to cure her disease.
Therefore, this made her tell Mito to find the herbs she wanted, of course, Freecs grandmother told Mito to also bring Zen along with her.
Zen, who heard that agreed, but he thought a bit if he decided to let Mito go with him. He had lived in the whale forest long enough; of course, he knew that this forest was dangerous. Moreover, some wolves often appear to look for some of their prey.
Zen tried to ask Mito about this, and without a doubt, Mito answered that she was ready to accompany him.
Zen nodded and asked for time to prepare himself. And that was immediately agreed by Mito and Freecs grandmother.
After a couple of minutes, Zen returned to Mito's house, and he was ready to search for herbs.
Mito welcomed Zen with a smile; she also changed her dress into a more comfortable outfit. And she brought a fruit basket containing foods she had prepared before.
"Then, let's go."
"Umm."
Zen said and answered by Mito with a nod of agreement.
Because the plants they are looking for is growing a lot in places that are within their reach, and are quite close. It makes them walk not so long; it only takes thirty minutes or more to reach their destination.
Even though it is close, the road they will go through has a lot of wild plants, and this will only make it difficult for them.
Along the way, Zen and Mito chatted lightly.
"Umm. Zen-san, if I may ask, how long will you stay on this island?"
Mito asked in a curious tone, to be honest, she would feel happy if the man in front of her settled for an extended period. At this moment, she saw Zen was separating some wild plants that were blocking their path.
"I don't know. Maybe for the next few weeks? I'm thinking of going somewhere after doing a few things on this island."
Zen replied while cleaning several thorny plants that were attached to several parts of his body.
"Oh..."
Mito, who heard this, could only answer briefly. She felt a little disappointed. For some reason she didn't know, a bad feeling came from her heart.
After a moment of silence, Mito began to ask a few more questions, and without they feel, they had reached their destination.
"Zen-san, I will immediately take some of the plants that are needed. You can take shelter here; there is some food in a fruit basket, you can eat that."
A vast expanse with several mounds overgrown with green grass and beautiful flowers began to enter their views. A lot of clouds billowed in the sky, and they moved slowly because of the wind. On the other hand, the weather today is very sunny, and the atmosphere also decorated with a blue color that will spoil anyone who sees it.
When Zen first saw this place a few weeks ago, he felt fascinated by its beauty. And now, even though this sight had entered his eyes several times, it still didn't make him bored to look at it.
And also, it seems that Mito is too excited and likes this place. A look of longing was visible on Mito's face.
'Is she often go to this place first?' Zen thought. 'Anyway, right now, she looks pleased. Even more so with her pure smile.' While lying down under a shady tree, Zen saw Mito running towards some flowers that had stunning red petals.
Zen, who saw Mito's behavior, could only shake his head while smiling lightly. Slowly, he closed his eyes while trying to enjoy this bright and windy day.
Without Zen knowing it, he began to fall asleep under a shady tree, which is currently an umbrella for him.
And on the other hand, Mito was fresh, picking a lot of herbal plants that have colorful patterns.
---
Time has passed, the afternoon has changed to evening.
Zen, who was sleeping under a shady tree, slowly opened his eyes.
"Hmm?"
"Where Am I?"
After waking up from his drowsiness, Zen began to realize that he was still in the same place.
Suddenly, a memory hit his head. He remembered that he was accompanying Mito to look for herbs plants; he immediately looked to the left and right while looking for Mito.
He felt a little worried, what if something terrible happened to Mito while he was sleeping? If that happened, isn't this his mistake?
When the expression of worry began to appear on Zen's face, at that moment, his appearance replaced with relief. Because he had found Mito, it turns out that Mito also slept under a tree that protected him as well.
Zen, who saw this, began to look at Mito's sleeping face. Her expression was utterly natural as if hypnotized by Mito's face that was currently asleep, this made Zen silent and won't look at her face.
But that did not last long because Mito's eyes began to twitch several times. It indicates that Mito had awakened from her sleep.
"Eh. Good morning Zen-san, or is it 'good evening'?"
Mito, who had woken up, began rubbing her eyes several times; she greeted Zen in a calm tone while smiling at Zen.
"You are already awake. Did you enjoy your nap?"
Zen also answered Mito while raising his right eyebrow. It is undeniable that today is bright and has perfect wind; of course, this can make people fall asleep because of it relaxing.
"Yes, I'm sorry for falling asleep. I want to wake you up, but I don't feel too because you seem to enjoy your sleep." Mito answered softly.
"No, no. I apologize for it. By the way, did you get all the herbs needed? "
Zen said while scratching the back of his head; he felt uneasy because he suddenly fell asleep and left Mito to do all the work. Therefore he could only sincerely apologize to Mito.
"Yes, I have gathered all the herbs plants needed," Mito answered.
"So, are we going back now?"
"Mmm. We can eat the food that I have made; it's not good if this food not eaten." Mito said while picking up the food from the fruit basket that she had previously prepared.
"Uh. That's right, then let's eat. "
Zen agreed to Mito's offer; he immediately sat cross-legged while taking the food that Mito had handed him.
---
"Mito, I hope you will be more careful next time and don't force yourself too much. A woman is not good to push herself too much."
On a beautiful evening, a two-person is currently walking in the woods at a leisurely pace.
The couple is none other than Mito and Zen. It's just that this time they walked not like when they departed before, but Zen carried Mito behind his back.
The shirt Zen was wearing was torn on his right arm part. It exposed the steel-hard arms that he often trained! His torn clothes were indeed not without reason, but this was because Mito had a wound on the knee that required Zen to cover the injury with a clean cloth.
Mito initially refused because it would be very futile if Zen tore his shirt just because of the wound she had. But this was immediately rejected by Zen; he replied that her injury was indeed the priority. If it was not going covered, Zen afraid that the wound will be infected.
Hearing the answer given by Zen, Mito couldn't even say a single word.
She now saw a kind man who began to cover up the wound she had with a cloth; he is doing it slow and gentle. Mito, who is seeing this, her heart began to feel warm.
"Mmm."
Mito answered in an unclear voice while nodding several times.
"Hff... that's good then." Zen answered with a sigh of relief.
Zen continued to walk towards the Freecs house from the forest while carrying Mito on his back.
I write two chapters, but after recheck. I decided to combine it into one episode.
Don't know if this chapter is good enough... But anyway, the next or two next episodes, Mc will be no longer in the whale island.
