Wow bad timing of mine to start reading this on my way to work. Im out now and it isnt any better. Everything is out in the air now and no more secrets as far as Rosie knows. But my heart , my tears. 😭😭😭😭 Rosie broke gramps. In hindsight we know that gramps also remembers 2 lives much like rosa. ( or am i wrong?) Thx author...this chapter. I cried alot.
if what I understand, it has everything to do with the twins, and the powers of grandfather and lilyiane since both lost their brother and their parents disappeared so it seems to me that there is a curse or a conspiracy made by the church or something else, because that's why Frederick and Maria disappear and Rosa dies at the end all the fault is of the church and a misunderstanding of the goddess
Oh baby, stop breaking our hearts. Grampa's more so. To see his beloved grandchild think she's a waste. He must be flashbacking so painfully to his first life, the one where he believed he too wasn't wanted and loved. But seeing Rosalia's identity crisis and her desire to run away from her family, no longer capable of hoping anymore because she spent a lifetime and got nothing in return. oh, ouch, my tears. But on a more technical(?) aspect, I can't help but grasp at the parallels between Grampa and Rosa. They have similarities in personality but that's to be expected since they are family. But the one that sits with me the most is how they both lived 3 lives. In their first one, they both believed the world would have been better off with them dead and that they shouldn't have been born so the Goddess sent them to live a world that will help them grow better. In their second, they lived a life in a more modern world that benefitted them immensely for this one, the Goddess' world. Grampa was a general and it shows in how he rallied the troops together, pushed back the beasts and made the world safer. But Ronald is a war hero and that doesn't translate into being a good king or lord in his case. The skillsets needed can overlap but you need different skills to keep the Republic going. For Rosa, her second life as a publicist and getting all kinds of work projects means she's touching into all kinds of spheres of life. Getting to know about everything a bit, juggling several hobbies and seeing how one thing from here can help there. The PR job will help her reputation from tanking down as Rosa while the work projects means she'll have an easier time innovating, creating and making what her Grampa and her family build into something more longer lasting, durable. So it sounds like the Goddess picked them to help the world grow and when they failed, sent them somewhere else to come back better prepared. Because Rosalia's 2nd life in UT seems like a New Game +.
I hunger for stories so I don’t really have much of a choice haha. Either I control myself by writing my own stuff, or I go right back into searching for content like a drug addict on withdrawal, except for me it’s stories. Except I drop stories a lot faster than I find new ones though, so the ones I actually end up seeing though to the end end up being a really small cluster. I sometimes wish there was a much more detailed range of tags for finding stuff on the internet. Like, there’s genres and stuff, but if I wanted a ‘story with an elf main character’ or with ‘a cursed character,’ that’s all very manual. Odd that you don’t seem particularly fond of your own genre, though I do see what you’re coming from. Just seems a little harsh? Idk.
