Let's Play a Game

Rey: "What's up now Chris Paul? Do you have any plan to introduce yourself who really you are? What if Althea can discover your hidden secret sooner or later? Do you already have an alibi?"

" And what do you want me to do, huh? To introduce myself who really I am? Do you think it is a good idea? So that Althea will be added to my list of obsessed girls! No, not anymore! I'm really tired of those fucking girls. "

Upon hearing his words, I was taken aback! I can't believe this. This is insane! And what did he expect of himself, he is the most handsome that all girls are crazy because of him?. Oh my God, this is unbelievable! He should not expect and includes me! I can never appreciate nor praise him!

"No, no, no, I think she really don't have this idea who really you are Chris Paul. Beside, we don't have any problems as long as Rey will shut up his mouth." Alexander said while Chris Paul nods as he agreed to him.

I look side by side and notice that some girls are watching us most specifically to Chris Paul. Ok, he maybe that famous in this school but I don't care. I didn't even noticed his existence here in this big campus for the entire 4 years. Though we are in the same building. But I really don't care knowing the fact what attitude he has.

"Hi, so what's going on here?" I exclaimed to better get their attention and enable to notify my presence. 'Althea, act as if nothing you heard. Keep calm!' I thought to myself.

"Oh, we are .... talking..... about the party tonight!" Alexander answered while stammering. He looks like he was surprised of my sudden appearance. And it feels good for me.

"Party? What party?" Rey asked with narrowed eyebrows. And I noticed the signal on his brilliant eyes indicating Rey to just agree whatever Alexander said.

"Oh, yeah. yeah.yeah. I'm sorry, I forgot our agreement last time."

'Go Rey, pretend well as if you really have a party tonight.' I thought inside my mind.

"Really? Party? And where is that?" I asked innocently as if I don't know anything.

"Not a big party at all. It was all about the upcoming celebration of our friendship for being together within four years. Me, Chris Paul and Rey. A small party to be held once a year." Chris Paul said.

"Ows! How sweet for you to celebrate your friendsarry!" " And where that party of yours will be celebrated?" I added.

"In Chris Paul condo!" Rey and the real Chris Paul answered in unison.

"What? You have a condo? Really? In that age?" Unbelievable! I doubt if it is really true so I ask Alexander.

"Yeah! I..... mean... yes! I do own a small condo!" then Alexander is eyeing Chris Paul.

"Can I join your party? I mean can we, together with my friends can join your party tonight?" but the thruth is I hate parties. I don't have any intention to join their hell party later if they really have. But I was trying to catch up to their damn lies. Why do I feel like I just have to go along the flow of this story?

Few seconds later and they are just staring to each other. No one answered me. Their facial expressions are so funny. But I was trying to control myself. Meanwhile, I can't stop showing my mishevious smile.

"But if we are not allowed to attend because it was exlusive for you guys, then you don't have any problem. You can enjoy your party by yourselves." I dare you if you have a conscience!

"Oh, of course.... of course..... you are welcome to join the party later. You can tell your friends later." Rey exclaimed as fast as lightning.

" Are you sure? But how about Chris Paul and Alexander? Is it okay for you?" I asked innocently!

"Of course. They even said right that the more is the merrier?" Alexander answered. But I'd noticed and felt Chris Paul was against of it. However, since he have no other choice and Alexander is waiting for his answer, he just nodded.

"Thank you! It's our pleasure to join your party for celebrating your friendsarry. I will inform the two girls later. Just text me the exact address and time. Okay?" while asking Alexander who act as Chris Paul. This becomes more interesting.

"Of course!" Alexander answered with poker face.

"So, since I don't have enough time and my next subject will be start few minutes, I need to excuse myself first. It's my pleasure meeting you guys!" I stand and gesture to make shake hands one by one.

Later at home, I start preparing myself for the party. I took a bath and wear a simple v neck white t-shirt and skinny jeans. I simply tie my wavey and long brown hair. And since I don't used to wear makeups, I just need to ask permission to my mother and I can go.

I saw my mother chitchatting seriously with my father in the kitchen. I don't know but suddenly, I do have a bad feelings which is unexplainable.

"Oh, where are you going? Why you are wearing an outfit like that? You're going out somewhere right now?" Mom asked in rising tone as soon she noticed my outfit .

"I have party to attend. They invited us together with my classmates."

"No. You cannot go anywhere!. You stay at home tonight."

"Mom? I will go back early. I swear. Maybe 10:00 o'clock, I am already here."

"What did I just said Althea? When I said no one will go out, then it means you stay! Is it hard to understand?" ok, I know mom is not in a good mood. But I cannot back out right now. Maria and Rose are waiting outside. Either mom will allow me or not, I still have to go.

I went back to our small living room, and since nobody is there, I open the front door and went outside.
