Window Shopping

The next morning

Heavenly Estates

Private Villa

Cath was busy near the mirror, grooming her appearance precisely. She was wearing a chic white t-shirt and a knee-length pair of ripped jeans. She pulled off a pink cardigan and she looked elegant even without makeup. She was busy with another work, too, right now.

"It's okay, Hubby", Cath spoke as she adjusted her ponytail, "I can go on my own."

"No way", Aaron talked to her reflection, "I am your hubby, right?" He was wearing a black tee and a pair of pajamas.

"Mm", Cath smiled, "I know, but still..."

The next moment, Aaron wrapped his arms around her from behind her back. He buried his nose in her hair and breathe in her sweet fragrance, "Mm... you smell so good."

"Hey!" Cath tried wiggling out of his arms as she understood where it was leading, "I need to go."

"So what?" he groaned in her hair, "You are my wife after all."

"But I have to work to earn the reputation as your wife", She turned to look at him, "You know."

"I don't care what people think", Aaron lifted his head, "You know, I don't care. If I cared about that, I wouldn't have married you in the first place."

Then, he pressed his lips against her luscious ones. She felt her soul being sucked away, as she was slowly going numb with pleasure. She swayed gently with him as he wrapped his arms tighter.

Cath slowly walked in through the corridor. At last, Aaron dropped him. He was so pigheaded. She was smiling, reminiscing the pleasure moments ago. A delicious shiver ran down her spine. She pushed open the door to the room and was hugged by an otherworldly creature, who was always cold and aloof to her. She was stunned.

"Aunty Shoo, are you okay?"

"Of course", jer voice carried hints of smile and tears. The nest moment, Cath felt her shoulder going wet. Sh e caught her by her shoulders and made her look straight, "What's wrong?"

Aunty Shoo held onto her hands and she swung her around, "Cath! Congrats! You are nominated in the Blue Phoenix Awards! You are nominated for the Best Rookie and Best Supporting Actress for your role in A day in Spring."

Cath was startled before she broke into a smile, "Really?"

"Yeah", Aunty Shoo let go of her as she walked around, "See, my aloof nature made you work hard."

Cath rolled her eyes in desperation. Her expression said, 'Oh, really?'

Aunty Shoo coked her head to a side, "What? Isn't it? What's with that expression of yours?"

"Nothing", Cath shrugged and walked over to the couch, "Any jobs?"

"Uh, huh" Aunty Shoo shook her head, "After the awards."

Cath's lips were pressed into a thin line. On one hand, she wanted to make herself presentable as Aaron's wife. On the other hand, Aunty Shoo had not arranged any jobs for her. What was she going to do?

[Author- Any idea? How?]

A black Porsche smoothly parked itself in the parking lot without disturbing the silence. Alice stepped out of the driver's seat. She was wearing a woolen jacket that covered her till the knees, and a pair of stockings covered her long legs. She pulled off the goggles and put them inside her handbag. Then, she took the lift to enter the mall.

...

Alice was busy doing window shopping. She came here to pick a gift for Daniel. His 27th birthday was next week. Daniel was interested in wristwatches and so she was here to pick one for him. She had already checked that Titan had released an exclusive collection of wristwatches recently. She kept on staring at the beautiful clothing wrapped around the mannequins.
