Drunken love

Hey, my name is Tia. I am a happy- go- lucky girl. I completed my schooling in a convent school from pre-kg to my 12th grade.It was a girl's school and I used to have only girls as my friends. I never talked to boys like that and hence for a fact i had a peaceful life. I was kind of a brave girl when i was in my school days. I pretty much enjoyed the stuffs happening around me and never tried to invest my time on worries and tenisons. I used to score good marks till my 10th grade and my parents had a lot of plans for my future. When i got satisfying marks in my 10th grade i became so confident that i could easily do well in my higher classes. Well! That thought just made me a loser. I lost marks in my 12th grade and i lost all hope in my subjects.

I had to wait for another year to pass by to get admission in some college. Luckly i got admission in a random college for commerce. Let me tell you, I had no idea what commerce was because i took science for all these years. I was ready to take in any course so that i could get a degree certificate. I made myself understand the need to gain high score in this course.

So finally, it was the big day. My college was starting the next day. I was so worried about it because everyone around me told that it's a Muslim Association College and be careful. All warned me not to be close with any muslims. It's a common misconception in India that most of the muslims are terrorists or antisocialists. I grew up hearing all these stories which made me worse.

I got all dressed up for my first day at a strange place. I was kindoff a mordern girl who wears jeans and short tops and sleeveless dresses. But this college had a rule that i have to wear shawl with long top and pants which annoyed me so much and i was happy at the same time because I will get to buy a couple of dresses.

Dad dropped me off to college and took me to my class. The moment i went in, my eyes just came off half a way. I found a familiar face among a group of girls who was already seated. She was my friend from 6th grade but later on she changed her school and we lost the contact. I took a seat with two other girls and made myself comfortable. I was feeling really awkward because this is not what i was. I lost my identity and thanks to my overconfidence which made me lose all my marks in 12th grade. I almost sat like a zombie till the day got over and rushed home without talking to anyone.
