Chapter One- Things Are Changing

I walked down the aisle, fans on either side of me. I got to the table and took my seat, Alex taking hers next to me. I got a nudge and Alex nodded her head towards the table BTS sat at. "Namjoon is staring at you." I raised an eyebrow at her before looking at the BTS table, and sure enough, he was staring at me. We made eye contact and he smiled, that cute smile that always makes butterflies in my stomach. I smiled back before turning back to Alex beside me. She smirked "He is so into you." I rolled my eyes but I couldn't stop the smile from falling on my lips. Suddenly I heard someone calling my name.

"Erin! Erin wake up! Erin Monroe I swear to god I'm getting a cup of ice water to pour on you!" I sat up in bed and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. When I opened them, my younger sister Adeline was standing over me. I rolled my eyes, she can definitely be annoying and naggy. I sighed before snapping slightly to her. "I'm up you can leave now!" She glared at me before walking away.

I got up and got dressed in my outfit for the day; black skinny jeans, blue t-shirt, and black Vans ( Like this but without the shoes ). I brushed my wavy brown hair and left it down to fall around my shoulders, the blue highlights mixing in the brown waves. I don't wear makeup so I just washed my face and brushed my teeth. I walked downstairs grabbing my backpack and keys.

I walked into the kitchen to make some cinnamon toast. I grabbed a slice of bread and popped it in the toaster before turning to get a glass of water. My younger brothers were also awake and eating bowls of oatmeal at the table. Justin is the second oldest, right after me he is only two years younger than me, being 16. He is the sibling I get along with best, usually making jokes about the others or talking about other things we like.

Noah is after him being another two years after Justin he is 14 and in 8th grade while I'm a senior in high school, Justin being a sophomore. Adeline is three years after Noah and is in fifth grade she just turned 11. Noah and Adeline fight a lot, but then again Adeline has a habit of pissing everyone off. Noah and I get along ok, but I mostly tease him because he is really pale while the rest of my family is more tanned.

The toast popped up and I grabbed it quickly buttering it before I sprinkled sugar and cinnamon on it. It's not the healthiest breakfast but it tasted good and it's not like I will get fat, it's really hard for me to gain weight and I weigh about 110 pounds on a good day while I'm 5'2. Justin looked up from his phone and smiled at me. "Hey, did you see BTS had their comeback today?!"

I felt a smile fill my lips as I walked over to him to watch the video over his shoulder. This is one of the things that we have in common, we both love Kpop. I watched the video and couldn't help but say a 'wow' as I watched the newest choreo they were doing. Justin looked at me and smiled before nodding his head in agreement. "I think this is my favorite song by them so far!"

I nodded and finished my toast before grabbing my keys off the counter and heading to the door. "See you all later!" I called as I walked out the door, hearing a few byes as I shut the door. I walked to my car and got in. It wasn't something super fancy but it was pretty nice. I started my car and plugged in my phone to the radio, playing my Kpop playlist as I drove to Alex's house to pick her up. I pick her up everyday just because I feel like it and it's a lot more fun when you have a friend to drive with.

Alexandra Garner is my best friend. She has always been there for me through everything and I have always been there for her, we have each other's backs and always have. Alex is pretty, with long, wavy brown hair and bangs that she sweeps to one side, like I do. She has killer style and whenever we are together, she usually has a smile on her face. Alex is pretty good at making friends and usually knows a lot more people than me. I'm more shy and reserved but if I know you I will be way more outgoing.

I pulled up in her driveway and she came out smiling as usual. She wore a cute outfit as she usually does and came running into my car. "Hey I love this song, replay it!" She yelled as I restarted Fools covered by Rap Monster and Jungkook. We chatted about random topics and then I mentioned my dream. She smirked and began fantasizing. "What if that really happens some day? I mean remember that one dream you had that ended up coming true a few days later?" I just laughed and shook my head.

"Alex, I bet a ton of girls dream of their favorite idols, it's nothing special." She gave me a "really" look before sighing and singing along to the song playing and I did the same. Truth is we both have pretty good voices, but we just don't like to sing in front of people. I have stage fright but I have dreamed since I was young to be a singer once I grow up. Well I'm just about a grown up now and I still haven't really gotten over my stage fright. Alex also has a passion for dancing, we always talk about moving to South Korea as soon as we graduated so she could become a back up dancer for an idol or open her own dance studio.

We pulled into the high school parking lot and got out grabbing our backpacks and walking to a table to sit and talk some more. We sat and talked for a bit before the bell rang, luckily Alex and I had a lot of the same classes and lunch together so we just kept talking happily as we walked to our first period. It was finals week and we only had this week and next week before we were done with high school.

We took our seats and I began to complain about finals and as we were waiting for the teacher to pass out the test we complained about all our least favorite teachers. Alex and I both had pretty good grades so we weren't that worried for finals, but finals are so boring. I laughed when Alex compared one of the teachers we have to Voldemort from Harry Potter.

I stretched as I walked out of my last class thanking the bell for finally ringing. That was one of the only classes I don't have with Alex and it is the most boring class ever, math. Alex walked over to me looking annoyed as she fixed her beanie. I smirked knowing who most likely tried to take it. "He still tries to take your beanie?" I said trying not to laugh. Marcus always takes her beanie because he knows she hates it, and I'm pretty sure he likes her.

She sent me a playful glare. "You have no room to talk Erin, Andrew buys you cookies everyday at lunch, and uses those cheesy pickup lines." I giggled before we walked over to my car. The whole drive home was spent singing along to Kpop songs again, mostly BTS and Got7. As soon as we got back to my house we went into my room getting my laptop, on the hunt for a place in South Korea for us to live. We found a few nice places and decided to bookmark the pages.

I smiled sadly at a picture of the two of us at a school dance we went to together our sophomore year. It seems like everything has gone so fast and now we are about done with high school and most likely moving to another country. Alex heard me sigh and sat up to look at the picture too. "We are really going to leave good 'ol America soon huh? Wow it's almost impossible to believe, but at least we can finally go to a BTS concert. And who knows maybe you will meet Namjoon and fall even deeper in love with him, even deeper than his voice."

I couldn't help but laugh as she did too. We are really going, I hope we can both pursue our dreams.

Graduation night was finally upon us and the air hummed with a mix of excitement and fear for what changes were to come. I felt anxious, really anxious as I sat down and tapped my foot. Alex came back from the bathroom and sighed when she saw me. She knows I always psych myself out for this kind of stuff. "It will be fine, we are walking down the aisle together and we are going to stay by each other's side, like always." I nodded and smiled a little, she always helped calm me down. I fixed my black dress that I wore. Alex smiled calmly and adjusted hers a little.

We put on our dark blue graduate gowns and caps. I took a deep breath to calm myself and stood putting in an earbud to listen to some music, music usually calms me down or pumps me up depending on the song. I put on Fire by BTS and Alex took the other earbud and we both smiled and got excited, I mean we were graduating today, in a few minutes for that matter.

They called me and Alex out and we linked our arms and walked out. It was definitely scary but I felt ok because I had Alex with me. We smiled at each other and took our seats. After long speeches and lots of tears everyone threw their hats in the air and cheered. Me and Alex hugged and laughed, deciding to find our families in the huge crowd.

As soon as we did we were hugged, cried on, and shoved into positions for pictures with different people. We all went out to get ice cream and we had a great time. The whole time I thought about how different things are going to be now. After all that Alex and I drove around and pulled into the parking lot of a few stores that were closed. We rolled the windows down and blasted BTS, singing our hearts out along with the music.

We sat there singing and laughing for a good hour before we decided it was best to go home and get some rest so we could begin packing for South Korea. I got home and passed out as soon as my head hit the pillow.

~Namjoon POV~

I walked through a school, I was guessing so anyway. I was looking for someone, my girlfriend. As soon as I turned a corner, I saw her. She was with a few other girls and a guy who kept flirting with her, but I only watched her as I made my way to her. The light from the sun shone one her, giving her tanned skin a golden hue and her hazel eyes sparkled giving her a radiant look.

As if she sensed my gaze, she turned to look at me and that smile I love so much formed on her lips. As she walked over to me, I guess I didn't even notice I was standing there staring at her. I rubbed the back of my neck a little embarrassed that she caught me staring, along with her friends. "Namjoon, why are you just standing there?" She said with a small laugh.

I smiled and grabbed her hand in mine, intertwining our fingers. She pulled me along as we walked back to her friends. Alex spoke up with a grin on her face. "Get your daily dose of staring at Erin?" Everyone laughed and I smiled and laughed too. I leaned down to Erin and kissed her forehead. She smiled as she looked up at me. "I love you, Namjoon." She whispered to me. I leaned into her ear and whispered it back to her. "I love you too Erin."

I opened my eyes, looking over to the alarm clock to see it was only 3:28am so I still had a few hours to sleep. I sat up and saw that Yoongi fell asleep at his desk. I sighed before getting up, shutting off the lamp on his desk. I yawned before heading to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and rubbed my eyes before I began to think about that dream.

Who was that girl, Erin? Why did I tell her I loved her? I felt like she was my world in my dream, but I have never met this girl before. But I did dream of her before too. I sighed before heading back to bed. It was just a weird dream right? Maybe I have been thinking about lyrics for a new song too much and just created a girlfriend in my mind. I nodded my head at the conclusion I came too and pulled my covers back on, falling back asleep after. Maybe I will tell the guys tomorrow about the dream.

~Erin POV~

I woke up a few minutes before my alarm was supposed to go off. I had another dream of him. I sighed as I got up and got ready for the day. School is over and today is the first day of summer break. As I finished brushing my teeth my phone rang and it said it was Alex calling. I answered and heard her talk excitedly.

Alex: Hey guess what! I called on that one house we really liked in South Korea, and the owner said she will drop the price for us! She said we just have to take good care of the place and it's ours!

Erin: That's great! When did she say we could be there?

Alex: She said we could meet her there next Wednesday. So get packing now!

I laughed before we hung up. I walked back into my room and looked around before I grabbed a box and began to pack. As I was doing so, I thought of the dream I had. I smiled as I imagined that being real. It sure felt real until I opened my eyes. I gazed out the window trying to memorize every part of the dream.

​ ~Namjoon POV~

After getting another few hours of sleep everyone woke up and were eating breakfast made by Jin. I decided I should tell them about the dream, about the same girl again. I cleared my throat and spoke up, drawing all eyes on me. "I had a weird dream last night, it had that girl in it again." They all looked interested, as the maknaes leaned forward to listen and the hyungs looked at me expectantly for me to go on.

"Remember that dream I had a few weeks back, about me seeing that girl, Erin? Well I dreamed of her again, except in this dream I was her boyfriend, and I talked to her." I said getting a little embarrassed so I smiled and rubbed the back of my neck. J-Hope was the one to prod me to keep going. The others all nodded in agreement.

"Well I told her I loved her, and she said it back." I said and the members all started smiling. "Looks like Rapmonie hyung has to have a dream girlfriend because he can't get a real one." Jimin spoke up with a grin on his face, I sent him a playful glare and he just laughed as the other two maknae and J-Hope joined him. Jin spoke up as I began eating again.

"I don't think it's coincidence if you dreamed of this girl more than once, what if the dream means something?" Yoongi shook his head "Maybe you just dreamed up your ideal girl or something, it doesn't necessarily mean something." I nodded and got up, putting my plate in the sink. "Ok guys we have dance practice today!" Everyone groaned except for J-Hope who looked excited.

~Erin POV~

After spending the whole day packing, I called Alex and we decided to go out to eat, so I got my keys and went to her house to pick her up. Alex smiled as I mentioned dreaming of Namjoon again. "I told you it's not just coincidence, why would you dream of him more than once?" I just laughed and shook my head. She started going on about me and him being soulmates and I played along. "Hey but if Namjoon and I are meant to be, then so are you and Jungkook."

She laughed and nodded. "When you and Namjoon get married, remember to invite me to your wedding." I laughed too "You will be my maid of honor, don't forget to invite me to your wedding with Kookie!" We laughed and sang along to more Kpop. Hello by Nu'est was playing and Alex got into it trying not to laugh along with me. I hope we could be friends like this, being able to be ourselves forever.
