I can't already have a kill since awakening

BANG

The sound resonated in the cave, shocking me and the girl but I was relieved that it tore away this very awkward situation we are currently in. I was in a cave with an injured very red faced female as I stood in front of her. The scene was so suggestive, that upon viewed by someone else was almost impossible not to be taken wrongly.

While she turned away, I hid behind the remaining ice rock to obscure her vision of me and proceeded to ask, "who are you?" in a cold harsh tone.

"I..I am Alice, who are you? Why were you inside of ice!" her tone worried at first, before rising with curiosity.

I tried to say my name but before I could, a sudden pressure dawned on my entire body, almost suffocating me to death. I hunched over, panting as I tried to catch any air I could.

Alice's eyes widened in worry, standing up in fright, "Are you alright?" She stepped closer to me but I raised my hand and stopped her, reminding her that I wasn't decent at the moment. She stepped back reluctantly as she watched me gather air to put in my lungs.

While trying to think of a name as it seems something restricts me to say my actual name, I recalled a tale I heard when I was travelling about this enormous snowman that would wreak havoc every winter and this monster would even shake the heavens themselves. At the time when I heard of this creature I wanted to find it and fight it to see if it is as destructive as its described, but sadly it claimed to be a bunch of lies.

The name of this creature was...." My name is Jack....Jack Frost," I felt the room getting colder as the word 'frost' escaped my lips.

I cocked my head slightly to see her reaction and saw her shivering. She caught me stare and stuttered through shivering lips, "It's very cold, how are you not shivering when you have literally nothing on."

She was right, I hadn't felt cold once while in this temperature even though the area was mostly filled with ice. I wondered if it was because of this ice energy around me that was helping but since when was I able to use ice powers? From what I know most people had an element that they are able to learn faster than any other elements otherwise known as having an attribute to an element. But they are still able to learn other elements as well, it just takes more time, meanwhile people that weren't born with an attribute, were unable to use any form of elemental magic or techniques. Sadly, I fell in that category in fact one of my known titles was the void hero since I had no capability to learn magic of the elements while other heroes had an elemental attribute which is also far stronger then a normal person's attribute to an element.

Wanting to try this new power out, I tried to concentrate and imagine my energy being wrapped around me and as if the ice is alive, it did as I thought, and created a mystical ice fog around my body leaving me head out. I practically looked like a ghost with a floating head.

"Alright, I am gonna come out now, don't worry I am covered up," I announced.

Stepping out of the ice rock I see the girl expression being shocked as to what I assume is my 'genius' idea to cover myself. Though somehow I had a thought that she is looking at me like some kind of moron… but pushed away the thought.

In a stern voice I asked her, "mind leading me somewhere to get proper clothing?"

"Ah…" the girl muttered, "alright but you have to help me with something."

She wants something from me? HA! She is lucky I haven't tried to freeze her to death! I wasn't in the mood and my wish to destroy everything was ruined since the people in this world are people who had nothing to do with the past. Maybe if it was a 100 or 200 years since the betrayal, I would have still wanted to kill all in my way but it was about a 1000 plus years since then. Most likely no one even knows of what their ancestors did to me.

After some thought I replied, "fine... depending on what it is I will do it. Now lead me somewhere with clothes."

A warm smile grew on her face like some hope returned to her heart, and energetically started to limp but then stumbled.

"Oh no… ow... my legs" she groaned in pain as she clutched her leg.

Reluctantly, I grabbed the girl and lifted her up, wrapping my arms around her like a baby and asked her to give me the directions to what I assume is her village.

There was a stubborn storm happening and luckily I was able to surround us with a thin layer of my bluish icy energy to protect us from the violent winds, then made sure the rain wouldn't land on us. This was all good but with one problem, to me this felt normal but for Alice she shivered in my arms, while trying to look strong. Hopefully we get to this village soon or she may die from my energy before I lay eyes on the village. This was very inconvenient as all that surrounds me are trees, trees, trees and then, surprisingly, even more trees. Thankfully though, the wet mud on the ground froze the moment I stepped on it reducing my likelihood of tripping like an idiot.

"We...are nearly..there...just through.....those trees," Alice muttered through her shivers.

Hearing her faint voice, I knew if I didn't hurry this girl would die, so I began to sprinting through the forest, cutting through the branches in my way while making sure none of them hit Alice. There were some close calls I encountered like tripping due to me still used to my body since my body hasn't moved for a long time. I could practically hear cracking in my joints as if ancient gears started turning for the first time.

Finally at the village with no time to observe the scenery with all the wind, rain and a literal freezing girl on me, she pointed to a small house which I hurried over to. I kicked the door open and I found an empty room which only had a small table in it, then placed Alice down and proceeded to close the door....it didn't close because I broke something. 'Is this door made of tissues?' I complained while eyeing the door, 'Why did stuff break easily?' I held the door close and applied some ice at the gap for a temporary solution to keep the door shut.

Running back to Alice, I found her barely conscious lying on the floor, as she stared at me, her blue lips opening, "please at the room at the end of the corridor, my mum is there. Please cool down her temperature."

Listening to her request, I head to the room at the end of the rundown corridor and gently open the door to see a 40 to 50 year old woman with ginger hair on a bed. Shockingly, her face was smooth with only little wrinkles and red blush on her cheeks. Placing my palm at her head, flinching at the heat. She had a heavy fever. Understanding Alice's request, I pushed my frost to my palm and gently focused it on entering the woman causing her forehead to steam up, eventually some frost started to show on her forehead.

After a few minutes I felt the burning temperature and the woman's expression eased. I slowly stood back up and walked to where I left Alice...she was sleeping.

'Are you kidding me?' I scolded her in my head, 'I am still naked here and need clothes; she decided to sleep all soundly?' Worried that I would accidentally destroy this house trying to find any sort of clothes, the only option I had was to wait. I headed to what I guessed was their kitchen and checked the contents.

...

...

...

'Do these people eat fucking dirt?' I groaned. Their kitchen was as empty as the void I was in a while ago. My face twisted with disappointment and began to question if Alice would even be able to get me clothes at all. However in all my disappointment I did feel a sense of sympathy for the struggles that this family had been going through. From the few minutes I have been here, I already grasped that this house and most likely this village is very poor.

Leaning into the wooden counter, I continued to wait until Alice woke up, and I would have waited in the same room with her but even though it was hard to see through the smoke, I was still naked and it would be very hard to explain why a naked man and an unconscious bruised girl on the floor would be in the same room...
