The Fall of Kuro and Settling matters

Northern Cliff, Syrup Village.

Django was now clueless about what he should do. He knew he could not take on the swordsman by himself and even then there was a few more unknown factors. He was sure Kuro would kill him. Because of his fear of Kuro, Django took a stance and was about to attack when he saw the shadow looking down at him from the cliff.

"What exactly is going on here?! I gave you one job to do. You can't even do that!"

Kuro was appalled at the standards of his men, who could not even stand up to some kids. He was so angry that he wanted to kill them all, including the idiots who were his crew.

"I will take matters in my on hands and end you all here!"

"End what, you say? Kill my crew and my friends? Even your plans are not enough for that, Kuro of the thousand plans!"

As soon as Kuro had said his words, someone spoke from behind. Kuro turned around, only to see a long nosed shadow carrying a girl behind him. The only catch was that he was flying, or more specifically, he was stepping on air to run. Everyone was shocked by this bizarre sight.

"[Sky Walk]"

The shadow disappeared again and arrived on the ground beside the veggie trio.

"Usopp!" "Captain!" " The village liar?!"

The last one was Kuro, who could understand that what Usopp did was not related to a Devil Fruit, but an advanced application of his own [Shakuchi] technique. He was scared of the kid's strength and mental fortitude, since he waited to make a move only after he revealed himself.

"You knew my identity? Then why...."

"The village liar is not someone people would trust, eh? He would also be the one you would not take as a serious opponent. You are far above me in planning, so I waited till you revealed your plan and then destroy it myself."

Usopp interrupted Kuro. He then took a few lead balls from his pocket and started to throw them in the air and caught them again.

'For dramatic effect I'll take a page out of your book, Rayleigh!'

"[Scattershot]"

He threw all the balls in his hand at ridiculous speed. Kuro tried to react to the attack but he did not even have the chance to block them. The attack hit all of his limbs which incapacitated him and gave him a lot of pain. Usopp made this attack for close quarter battles and as a hidden attack. HE definitely did not make it so that he could show off. Not one bit. (Author: He definitely did)

Amidst all the commotion, Luffy woke up. He was confused when he saw all the enemies were down and when he saw Usopp taking down another with some lead balls, Luffy had stars in his eyes.

" Oi Usopp! teach me how to do that!"

Luffy yelled while running towards Usopp, exactly at the same moment when he was going to say something.

'This idiot! My chance to give a cool dialogue is gone! Usopp's destiny is hitting me in the face. Can't I look cool before Kaya for once?'

Said the tactless fool who literally flew through the air with another person on his back and then finished the boss character in one shot.

"Yeah... so with this underwhelming fight, the defensive battle of Gecko islands ends in our victory!"

He continued in a flat tone while pouting. He did not notice the still flabbergasted looks on everybody around him.

*BAM*

Luffy sent Django flying and threw everyone on the pirate ship. Luffy came up to Kuro and was about to carry him when Kuro disappeared and with 10 scars appeared on Luffy's body.

"You let down your guard, pirate! The likes of you can't survive on the seas unless there is someone like your captain present to protect you! I'll at least take you down as revenge before I FALL! "

Kuro laughed aloud sounding like a broken man, which he was. Luffy was super pissed at the remark.

"Oi Usopp, I am taking this guy on. Don't interfere."

"Alright captain. i will leave him to you then. But I get to punch him a few more times after that."

"OK. I am Monkey D. Luffy, the captain of Usopp and the man who will be the King of the Pirates. Remember my name. Now let me return the favor."

Luffy spoke as he continued to walk towards Kuro. Usopp saw Luffy's serious face for the first time and somehow felt that his words would become true. It was not because he knew that this person was the main character of the story, it was because of the unrelenting faith Luffy had in his own words when he said it.

"King of the Pirates?! A kid like you who is not even strong as his own crew shouldn't say those words. You are not fit to be a pirate! Your'e Just a kid who is only a dreamer! I'll end you here and now so that you don't keep on spouting bullshit ever again! [Shakuchi]!"

Kuro disappeared again. He was so fast that only Usopp could keep proper track of him. Luffy and Zoro could detect his movements to a certain extent. Scars started appearing on the rocks on the side of the cliff and the others could see Usopp deflecting some kind of attack against them. Luffy's wounds were also increasing more and more but he did not lose his composure.

"A man like you who does not know the weight of the word pirate shouldn't lecture me. I'll put an end to this. [Gomu Gomu no...Pistol]!!!"

Luffy attacked with more speed and spirit into that one attack than he ever did before. It broke through the sword-claws of Kuro and hit his face. Luffy still continued with his punch as Kuro flew straight into the mast of his ship which broke on impact.

"You guys take him with you and never come back again!"

Luffy yelled at the now awake members of the crew, who saw the entire encounter immediately nodded their heads and started to set sail at full speed. When their ship sailed a bit away from the islands, Luffy fell down. Nami ran towards him and checked his wounds, only to see him sleeping soundly.

" Oi Luffy... What about my revenge on those guys? Who am I supposed to punch now?"

Usopp might as well have had a conversation with the trees rather than make Luffy remember things when he is fighting. He then turned towards Kaya, who was shocked and confused at the things that happened to them.

" Kaya, there will be no more problems. The village is safe. I also have to ask a favor of you."

...

Ussop looked at the three kids who were still crying. He assembled the Usopp Pirates one last time to say goodbye.

" You three, I'll be heading out to the sea to follow my dream. You three should also not forget what your dreams are and give your all to achieving it!"

"Yes Captain!"

The three yelled loudly while crying. Usopp turned his back towards them so that they won't see the tears in his eyes. He then looked at the horizon and thought of all the good times they had together.

"From this point on, the Usopp pirate crew is disbanded!"

Usopp used [silent steps] to run away from them or he thought he would start crying in earnest.

'Now, Let's go find the crew. We might have to buy the ship but Kaya most probably will give it for free. Tomorrow, my adventure will begin!'

Usopp was too emotional at that moment since he would be leaving Kaya and the veggie trio, but the seas were waiting for him- The king of Snipers, 'GOD' Usopp!
