Jaculus

"What do you want?"

The woman asked.

She stared at Jason trying to find out what he is really up to.

"Looks like you don't understand, I asked the question first. Answer how much money are you expecting after this festival"

Jason didn't waver from his question, he wants to pressure these people who don't have any idea about their own future.

"Why the fuck do you care?"

One of them shouted at Jason, Jason looked at his and suddenly shot his head off with Azrael, blood splattered all over the table and across the faces of the men and women in the room, some of them screamed as they felt the warm blood and flesh dripping down their face.

The headless corpse twitched multiple times trying to get back to how it was previously. too bad the man didn't have an insane healing ability like the vampires or the Kishis.

The man died right in front of his group of mates like he was nothing, what Jason was more impressed was his gun no matter how many times he uses it, it always shows the result, it blows up everything that the bullet inside it touches.

'Maybe this guy really is magical, who knows'

Jason thought and got back to his kill, he saw the final struggle of the headless body as it calmed down.

"Anybody else?"

Jason asked as he looked around the scared faces of the 36 people around the room, except one person, he wasn't scared like others, he was fascinated.

"Good, no one, so answer me how much"

"Around 12 Billion Gs"

The woman in the middle said.

"Oh that's a lot, so who gets how much, I guess you lot don't get much at all, it all goes to the ones who are sitting up there"

Jason said and pointed at the sky, no he was not pointing at the god, he was just stating that there is someone higher than these group of people.

"If you know then why do you ask?"

The young man in the yellow suit asked.

"I don't know anything, I just assumed"

Jason said and pointed his gun at the young man in the yellow suit, the young man raised his hands.

"What are you?"

Jason asked.

"I am a Jaculus, a demon snake-dragon"

The young man said.

"I see, put your hands down, tell me how much are you lot getting?"

Jason asked.

"Nothing"

The woman said.

"Nothing? Are you guys really that stupid, 12 billion Gs and you guys get nothing?"

Jason was surprised by this, he didn't expect this at all, all these people are just doing this for nothing, either they are very loyal or very stupid, and Jason thinks they are the later ones.

"We have no choice, we are doing this to stay safe from the upcoming war, this time the war is predicted to be way more cruel than any other that happened in thousands of years, we need this money for our survival, the survival of the army that can protect our family"

An old man sitting right next to the old woman said.

"Well, war is war, I really don't care about it, tell me where will the transaction going to be held?"

Jason asked.

"It will be done a month after the festival is over, all the bodies will be collected and sent out of the city where they will be collected and sold across the world, the payments will be transferred after all transactions are complete"

The young man in the yellow suit said.

"So it will take a month for the money to arrive?"

Jason thought about it for a second, but he still didn't understand something, why was it only 12 million Gs, for a single person or a group of 36 the amount is huge but not enough for the war, the food, the water, the weapons, so much money is going to be used that it would be a world crises.

12 million Gs was not enough to feed a whole army and if there are supernaturals involved that Jason knows will participate in, they need more food than normal humans.

"I know that 12 million Gs won't be enough for this war, what about the rest?"

Jason asked.

"This-"

The young man in the yellow suit froze, he didn't want to answer this at all, and he was the only one in the room who knows about what really is going on.

The other members in this room are clueless, they also thought that 12 million Gs was too little for the war but belonging to a huge organization meant that they should have money right, at least that is what the men and women in this room thought.

The only person who knows the truth is the young man with the yellow suit

"Keep speaking or I blow your head"

Jason said and pointed his gun at the young man, the young man who is a Jaculus, a species of an ancient demon, they are demon snakes who have the bloodline of dragons in them.

Too bad not many no about their species, many think they are not even demon because they don't carry any trait that relates them to the modern-day demons.

Whenever this young man told that he is one of the demon species the rest would just ignore it and never question it, they think it's useless to start up something with a young man who is already at their level at such a young age.

"Go on, pull the trigger"

The Jaculus finally broke his cover as a smile crept on his face, he didn't expect this man who came out of nowhere to get so close to getting all the information about their organization.

The continent of Dorma is about to change and the remaining 35 people in this room are essential people, if they die things can go wrong, one of them is already dead but Jaculus didn't expect that a normal gun would kill a supernatural being in such a gross fashion.

Now that playtime was over he has to make a move or things might go south.
