Confession War

Every morning, Elsa wakes up to see a text from Ray. She loved that the first thing he does is to text her. He wakes up thinking about her and that thought brings her a whole new level of happiness.

She remembered telling him once, " I'm scared to call you."

He asked curiously," Why?"

" Because you might shout at me, if i called you to tell you some random things. "

Ray chuckled and said, " You can call me anytime, anyday for any random thing you want to say . I will listen to it "

Elsa smiled thinking about his words. So,she decided to call him at midnight to test it out. She was eagerly waiting for the clock to strike at twelve.

And once it did, she dialled his number. Ray picked it up after a couple of rings.

Elsa joyously said," Heyy... "

" Heyy... Whatsup?"

" Nothing... Just testing your words. "

Ray laughed and said," Did I prove it?"

Elsa smiled and said," Yeah.. you did. "

Ray laughed before hearing some noise , he told her to wait for some minutes.

Later, he came back after saying," Okay.. I just locked my room... Lets continue."

Elsa laughed and said," Good Boy..!!.."

And continued their conversation for two hours.

Thus, began their 'secret' midnight conversations. They would call each other once they get the oppurtunity. Both of them couldn't sleep unless they hear his/her voice.

Whenever Adina called either of them, she found out that both were busy and when she asked them either of them would answer ," I was calling Gwen" or " I was talking to Mom. "

Elsa didn't know why they were lying to her. So she asked him," Hey.. I don't get why we are lying to her."

" Neither do I"

" Then, we could just say the truth.. right?" asked Elsa.

" ..... Maybe not..." which made Elsa chuckle.

As their exams were over, they had got some free time before their classes start, which made both of them restless.At this point of time, both of them were aware of each other's feelings and both were trying to make the other spill it out first.

One night, her brother was staying up late so she couldn't call him at their usual time.

She texted him saying ," I can't call today. "

" Noo...No. you have to call me today.. I won't sleep today without hearing your voice. " Ray cried.

Elsa tried her best to evade her brother but Alan was not going to sleep any moment and as Ray was pestering her to call him. She decided to go downstairs and call him for a minute so that he would peacefully sleep.

She hurriedly called him ," Okay.. okay... I called you.. "

"Hey.. Don't hang up so suddenly.." Ray said happily.

" You are crazy... Just wait till my brother knows about this, you will die... " Elsa warned him.

" Okay. Just answer my question , then you can hang up."

"Okay. Hurry up with your question. " Elsa was looking around to check whether her brother was coming downstairs or not.

" Why did you call me now?" Ray asked her.

"....Huh?.... Didn't you just say that you won't sleep without me calling you?"

" Yeah i did.. But why did you call? There must be a reason that you called right?.." Ray calmly asked her again while hiding his smirk.

' Hah!!!! Caught you... Lets see how you will escape now!! '

Elsa was lost in her thoughts, she knew he was asking her to confess her feelings. She smirked thinking how sly he was.

So she turned his question right back at him ," Why did you say that you won't sleep without hearing from me? There must also be a reason right?"

Ray was dumbfounded, he didn't think she would turn his statement against him ask him .He dug his own grave.

She chuckled when there was a silence from the other side. Hearing her laughter, he also smiled.

She asked him," So, ready to sleep?"

Ray immediately replied," Suree.. I'm really sleepy now.. So goodnight"

She laughed and bid him goodnight. She shaked her head thinking about his actions.

'Having me confess first? .. You wish...'
