How to train your Hero

"I am Fenrir! The one who defeated your Hero! Now, My Master was about to ask some questions, so answer him nice and normal!" Cried out by Yuri who was at Fenrir mode. We are at the entrance of Amazon tribe with our hostages, *Cough* with their unconcious scout. They aren't our hostage, really, so don't get me wrong here.

Above ours was an Amazon Guard watching us with equipped weapon, but some of them shivered because of Yuri's intimidation. One of them jump down and look at us one by one and said to Yuri "I'm sorry mighty one, if we, Amazonian angered you this time but, I'm sorry, Our chief have an appoinment and was talking to an important guess inside, so-"

"HUH-!? you mean, my master isn't important!? Want me to chomp your head now!? Kugaaa!♡-"

I knock her head before she even finished her sentence. I'm riding at her back though.

"Unice, tell them we can wait, but if not-"

"We can wait for 5 minutes but if you still didn't open your gate!-" she said before I even finish my word. This girl really is pain in my butt.

"Whats the matter, Jazz?" said by a small girl with silver metal eyes and hair, as she stepped forward and called the Amazonian guard infront of us and called her Jazz.

"Eh? Fenrir-s..sama? W..what are you doing here?!" she said while stuttering and looked at me and Unice.

'This guy, its odd, I can't sense a bit of his Aura!' she thought.

"H...hello! I'm Ellen, the recently emerged Hero of Amazon Tribe. F..Fenrir-sama, if its okay, we'll let you enter b..but our Chief is talking to someone. So for now, please follow me and we'll visit her later" She said in nervous tone.

Eh? This little Girl is their current Hero?

"Grrr!" Growl by Yuri and thus we followed Ellen while caressing Yuri's fluffy hair. But she let a quiet sound of huff huff huff repeatedly in a lovely voice.

As I thought! She's a pervert! Being a Masochist is only her second option!

With that, we entered at Ellen's courtyard. Though, I'm not in a mood for her story telling, she did tell that this place is a price and rights of being a 'Hero'.

By the way, How do they decide that they were a Hero in a first place? Like those human who came at that time just to see Zyra.

Is it of how much ones magical core?

Of ones physique?

Or about battle prowess?

If you ask me about qualification of a Hero, Fenrir(Yuri) can defeat tens to twenties of Zyra in all out head-on, so Yuri can be a Hero too? But this girl(Ellen) casually said she's a Hero as if that was normal. No wait, the humans from that time knew where the Hero will emerged and who was that Hero just by looking. I ignore those important hint until this point, and I didn't know how they found and pick a Hero(Zyra).

I look at Ellen and Yuri. I wanted to ask Yuri and Ellen but. It really is hard being mute.

"Oi Unice!" I poke Unice cheek who was lazily lying on the floor.

"Be my translator, there are something I want to asks-"

"Uhm, I'm sorry to interrupt, but, I can understand you sir-?" I look at my side and saw Ellen, after hearing her words, Unice return to her position.

"Call me, Fortune" I replied. I forgot to ask if she can hear me in the first place.

I always thought and sure thing it was normal not to heard by other people, so, I considered that people cannot hear me, and forgot the still minority who can. Maybe because after meeting Yuri I was self concious about being mute?

"How should you guys pick your Amazonian Hero?" I ask her directly, She look at me with those question in confused look, as if the answer was as normal as breathing air.

Scratching her cheek, she said "We, Amazonians have Annual Trails. 'Battle Royale', and 'Trial of Hero', we pick the top 3 Survivors of Battle Royale and let them take the Trial, if those 3 passed the trial at the same time, which is almost zero chance, they will kill each other for another Battle Royal. And so, the Winner will become a True Hero", and so she said.

Whut!?

Isn't that normal for having a Hero!? The one whose responsible for tribes survival and peace!? F*ck?, I lost. Oh sorry for the cursed but. I really lost.

I don't know what it means to be a Hero anymore. As if it was for them to have a Hero every year. Maybe if they called the winner a Champion than a Hero I would not be surprise..

No, wait..

"Yearly? You mean, every year, your tribe can create a Hero?" I ask her without thinking. create? That was funny, what are they, a factory?

"Yes, But the current Hero is only take until Battle Royal and if I still win in the end. Of course, I have to defend my title as a Hero!"

Okay? I quit. I don't know anymore, how the hell they used that kind of puahover and half-hearted way dor choosing Hero? Isn't being a Hero is a Gift!? So anyone of them can become a Hero then!?

Nonesense!. This is nonesense.

Now, I'm far from knowing why and how humankind pick their Hero. I thought, it can give me clues here. Why did I even compare them in a first place!?

Yes, I compare the Human way and Amazon way for picking their Hero. But this is madness!! Rather than getting the hint, I didn't gain any.

Rather, I lost on track. Like a maze where I'm in right track, but pick the hard way instead and a dead end at that.

We already introduced ourselves, and her name was 'Otraria'. After seing Fenrir being calm and not the original Fenrir she know, she ask what was our purpose for coming here. Ellen who was beside her look at me and so do I. She'll my interpreter, its not that I didn't trust Unice, its just that, she's foolhearted and simple idiot. So then I said

"I have a few questions to ask, so I want a direct answer", the chief was surprised and look at Ellen.

"Fufufu, Fortune-kun was Mute, but be glad, your Hero can communicate through thoughts" Said so by Unice and smirk.

The chief look at Yuri(Fenrir) who have cold eyes. I instruct her to intimidate the chief so she didn't have any second thoughts to tell lies. For some reason though, my perception about seing ones inner feelings isn't as strong as my main body(Tree), especially here, so thats much of a waste.

The chief swallowed her saliva and nod.

"By chance, What are you planning?"

"Eh?"

Directly to the point and after the question, I saw the chiefs surprised eyes and jolted. I have many questions to ask her, but I'll leave that for later.

Truth is, I created another small clone like lizard with the size of my thumb and spied at them. It really is indeed suspicious to have their 'Guest' and 'Important' at that. And luckily heard an important news should no be ingore. But that 'Guest' destroy my spy.

One more thing..

And as far as I concerned, 'Showing ones Strength first' is the first and foremost motto of an Amazonian before others could convey their words. Meaning, they have to defeat an amazon warrior before they could speak in an equal terms. Not that I care about their background, but that 'Guest' is not just your normal guest.

"And? I wanted to know, and I was curious. Could you please enlighten me of what was this your so called 'Plan'?" I then spread my Aura and covered the entire chief's chamber, meaning, even Unice, Yuri and Ellen felt it. I don't care if you(the chief) have been soffocated to death. I'll kill you myself if you try to step foot beyond your territory.

So, this is what it means to be angry, my heart(core) is boiling hot like that of a melting lava. You know why I was angry? And hat was their plan?
