Training begins

Kei was woken by a knock at the door "master its time for you to get up and start your training" Kei woke up with a start "wah where am i-" then he remembered yesterday. "Master I'm coming in" says a maid as she walks in she looks like your typical maid fair-skinned in a black and white uniform. "Master these are your clothes from yesterday" she says as she hands them to him, freshly laundered "What did you just call me" says Kei "master or would you prefer Hero" says the maid apologetically "please just call me Kei whats, name?" asks Kei "Kei sama it would be improper for you to associate with me I'm just a maid here is your bag from yesterday please follow me to the dining hall the King wants to see you". As she led him to the dining hall he thought about what the King meant about training "Hero come eat" the Alexander said and Kei didn't need to be told twice, after he finished his mountain of food the Alexander pulled out a piece of iron the same size and thickness as a smartphone "this is a status plate it will register you and serve as a form of identification it also will display your skills, prick your finger and drop the blood on it". Kei was wary but he decided to trust him the plate started glowing and words appeared (in this worlds language and English thankfully for him) [Kei motto, Age 16, Weight 31kg, Height 180cm, Race African, Japanese, Class Hero, Skills Berzerker, Eye color grey, Element n/a]. 'Well well well this is surprising you have the skill Berzerker that means you can go into an unstoppable rage you but you will lose yourself and you will not regard pain you must keep that in mind, no element well I suspect you've never trained in magic you should be able to develop one" Kei was in awe of the plate and the talk of magic "lets go see you in action we will go to the training grounds to see your skills in action" Kei and Alexander go through the humongous castle with hundreds of rooms covered in lavish items. Once outside Kei sees the large grounds of the castle they go a section with multiple large fields one an archery range and a fighting ring, one a large track and horse stables, and one had a large lake with boats. He calls a bunch of what Kei assumes are knights "let's see what weapon suits our Hero" the knights bring him to the archery ring first but, archery did not work out he pulled too hard and broke one bow and once he fired one and it missed the target by 3 meters. Next was hand to hand combat which he excelled at he beat every knight he went against finally, it was the sword section of the ring they tried claymore length which he picked up with ease but he didn't like the limited mobility and he didn't want to carry a sword at his side he finally settled on a concealed knife hidden and small. "This was a surprising discovery" said Alexander happy with the progress they made "let's go get you a test in magic". Alexander led them to a walled section of field once they entered Kei saw Persephone "about time if I'm gonna have to waste my time on this I hope to at least get it over with quick" she said "its not like I asked you to help me you don't have to be such a-" "ok ok get along you to you guys are on the same side here" said Alexander "fine,does he have a element yet?" she asked "no not yet" Alexander said "come over here and stand". Kei walked over to her and she grabbed his hands and examined them "there is mana everywhere around us close your eyes and concentrate" Kei did just that and he could feel something in the air "now bring it into your body and try to concentrate on in your hands and "now expel it through your hands" Kei shot shockwave of air through his hands Persephone was blown back 10 meters and got up yelling "what was that for-" but was cut off by Alexander "ha ha ha ha amazing" "I've never seen a raw spell that powerful!" Persephone exclaimed more shocked than mad. They soon after went back home Kei went to the bath first happy to have a bath other than an onsen and luckily there were no maids in there (or unluckily) once he was done he joined the rest of the family at dinner everyone was more friendly even Persephone. They talked about his life and his powers "so where are you from" asked Alexander "I'm from a country called Japan we are a very advanced country with a prestigious history" "why were you so anxious to get out and why is your skin dark like that and your hair long like that?" asked Persephone "I was homeless and I was abandoned by my family and im half African I assume you don't have that here" "the demons have a darker skin tone its good that we found you or people would have thought you were one said Alexander. After dinner was over Kei set on his bed processing his new life when Persephone came by "sorry for being rude to you please accept my apologie" "no problem I'm sorry for hitting you today in training "no no it's fine" then she sees his Ramune bottle "what is that and what does it say?" "its a drink from my world and it's in my home language our spoken language is the same but the written one if different want to try some" "yes please" she says as she sits down beside him as he opens it she jumps at the sound "Ahh what was that?!" "oh sorry that was the carbination.. nevermind forget it" he hands her the drink "MMMM I have never had something like that before thank you for letting me try it" she thinks for a moment "if you help me get stronger ill teach you how to read and write deal?" "sure sounds good she tells him goodnight and soon after his maid comes in and gets his bed ready "you still haven't given me your name" Kei says "its Emma" says the maid with a smile "you bed is ready Kei sama goodnight" Kei crawls into bed and dreams of home"
