I have only read the summary. From what I've seen about Ju and Feng you need to change the words. You refer to both with the words he is or his life was.
From the summary alone it sounds like they are both men which by the looks of things, that isn't what this story is about. Some words won't matter but important words like he, she, he, her, etc are as it decides gender
Other then that I think the story sounds great and
cant wait to actually get into reading it ^_^
